Yeah, I don't understand this one either.

Is he saying conservatives will sit out? Not bloody likely.

Is he saying dems will sit out? That's more likely, but not something that we should count on to try to win. Conservatives need to get out and vote as if their lives depend on it, because they do.

The meme is a reminder that Republicans are not dems, they do not blindly vote party. Republican voters expect results and so far all we have seen are Republican's caving to Biden. I will not vote for an incumbent, all of them have proven to be weak and ineffective. If a new challenger appears for any Republican seat, I will gladly give them a chance, anything is better than what we have. I'm sure I am not the only one that wants new blood over old lies.

Well, you do you.

You do realize that a) there's never going to be an incumbent that checks all your boxes for what a "perfect" candidate should be, so how is it that you can even vote for anyone if they're not perfect and b) if you don't like who's on the ballot in November it's too late - you should go out and put your time, effort, and money into the primaries to get that "perfect" candidate.

That's the type of thinking that got us stuck with the current list of failures. People in both parties are picking between two losers and justifying it by claiming one or the other is worse. Look at it like this is we keep the same people nothing changes, so far, I can't name three Republicans I would keep. The party is doomed if they can't find the strength to stand up to china Joe, we don't need them.

“I will not vote for an incumbent…”

What a horrible reason to not vote for someone. You should voting deeper thought than that.

Also, you seem to be casting your net of disparagement against Republicans a little too wide for my tastes.

The next 4-6 years are critical, and are no time for third party or protest votes.

It took watching them refuse to back Trump while never hesitating (except by lying) to back Biden. If they stay, it is more of the same, if the dems win more seats it will change nothing. The only hope as small as it is would be new blood.

“The only hope as small as it is would be new blood.”

I disagree. Way too simplistic.

Talk about specific challengers to specific candidates, and it would mean something.

This blanket disparagement of incumbents is not really all that useful.

I get where you are coming from but unless the base raises the stakes and holds our political elite accountable, we will just have more of the same. So far, no incumbent has shown me why I should vote for them or encourage others to do so.

No, actually I don’t think that you “get where I’m coming from”.

If you have a different candidate you’d prefer, let’s hear who they are, and why specifically you think they are better than “the incumbent”.

Talk about specific Republican challengers to specific Republican candidates.

Yeah, I don't get BFF's logic. Here's how I hear what he's saying - OK, me congressional rep or senator has had 100 bills come in front of them during their term. They voted the way that I wanted on 95 of them, so I won't vote to reelect them because of the 5% of the issues that we disagree on. Instead, I'll stay home and not vote in November of 2022, thereby letting the democratic candidate that I agree with on 0% win the election. That'll show 'em!

Are they for real?

I don’t know the user, but this sure seems like a troll-like comment.

don't know, if he's for real on this or if he's just an extreme extremist. I agree with about 90% of his memes and comments, but this is a head scratcher.

* You should give voting deeper thought than that.

“Sitting out the 2022 elections could become a thing”

Why would anybody want to “sit out the elections” ?

Your idea of discussing specific issues with any Republican already in office is a waste of time, attempting to use this platform to remove them all is a much better use of my time. I could pick a topic, massive government spending, mandates, inflation, uncontrolled crime, open borders, dangerous illegals getting shipped all over the country and dozens of others. Things they already know and have done nothing to stop. They are useless products of a broken system. The next election, that is always the one when they will stand up and fight. That lie no longer works. No one should expect a thing to change if all of them keep their seats, nothing will change if Democrats keep control of all three houses. The only hope for a real challenge to the globalist agenda has to come from new blood.

I know it looks bad for Republicans, I post one or two political memes every day, I have for years. When the message is they have failed us, I would worry if I had to counter that narrative, why, because they cannot prove it untrue. Republicans cannot show any victories or attempts to stop Biden, zero. They are more worthless than an empty seat. Without seeing the lot of them some fighting back against Biden, I will hammer them all as the lairs they are. I will not fall for the tired old next election when we have power, that is when we fight back lies. They all had a chance and failed. That is the new narrative-stop doing the same thing and expecting a different result.
