Replace all the NBA with the WNBA players....then replace them with fat women (cuz body positivity)...then replace half of them with minorities and transexuals (cuz diversity)... then give them all participation trophys (cuz muh feelins).... then cancel the whole thing because the NBA was founded in a country that had slavery.

And to your last point they'd have to cancel the whole thing because teams traveling around from city to city has too high of a carbon footprint.
