I think biphobic makes the least amount of sense to me, like why would you hate someone for liking 2+ genders, that’s just stupid, although homophobia and transphobia make no sense either

There’s been a trend of cishets “coming out” and pretending to be LGBTQ for attention/clout/pity points. And bi is one of their favorite labels to co-opt. So a lot of people feel like bi people in hetero relationships and/or with an opposite-gender preference are straight folks faking it for attention or to seem cool/special

Yeah. It’s hard to say, so I don’t call them on it. I think part of it might be that when someone announces that they are questioning to LGBT people, we start to push them against the straight label, even if it fits because we like to think back to when we first realized we weren’t cis/straight, and think of it as kind of wholesome and stuff

You could tell with these people, when somebody was talking about being gay, they’d be like “Ew being gay is gross” and everyone else was too shy to call them out for it

It could just be internalized homophobia

No, the Mormons aren’t very homophobic although mildly transphobic, it’s most of the other people who are homophobic

Isn’t it funny how calling people who don’t know any better “scum” is exactly what you’re saying their doing to you. There are so many infinite reasons someone might be phobic in general. Having been molested as a kid by men, although I’m not afraid of anyones sexuality, I am often fearful of men and I’m in my 50’s now. Some people are taught by insane and ignorant religious people to feel a certain way, or parents or society. In the Middle East you can be publicly murdered for being gay, bi or whatever.
Public executions might make anybody a little scared.
To many reasons I know nothing about to call people I also know nothing about scum.
That’s just me tho. I try to have compassion for everyone because we’ve all got a war going on inside us and wars hurt. Yours hurts so much you called people scum.
