You didn't watch any of the videos did you? The ONLY reason why Kyle shot those guys is because they presented a very credible threat to his life. In other words they were pointing their guns at him first. He is extremely lucky that they didn't shoot first because they clearly had the advantage. One of the idiots that Kyle shot, I don't think had a gun, but he was hitting Kyle in the head with the edge of his skateboard and, yes, that then became an attempt on his life.

If you really want an objective opinion then watch the unedited videos that are out there. The ones without some news commentator blathering all over them about how evil Kyle was. Kyle acted 100% in self defense. He didn't go there to shoot people up. He went there as part of a group to offer first aid to the victims of those rioters and to help protect people's businesses from being burned down or looted.

I guess to be a good little leftist today then you have to accept that those riots and all other riots all around the country were people were murdered, injured, had their businesses looted or burned down are all perfectly acceptable. And if anyone gets in their way then those people must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, especially if they are innocent.

It wasn't until the guy cornered him with a gun that Kyle shot back. Until then, Kyle was running away trying to avoid the violence.

Anyone who showed up to protect those businesses would have been killed had they not armed themselves.

Why do you think police officers carry guns with them everywhere they go? Is it because their main job is to go out and shoot people?

My argument is NOT AT ALL WEAK. What was weak was the police departments being ordered to stand down so that your precious little criminals could burn those businesses down. And if the police are not allowed to do their jobs then there is a Constitutional right of the people to form militias and to bare arms. That is what the 2nd amendment is all about.

The police are never the 1st responders in any situation. Neither is the fire dept or any government entity. The people are the 1st responders. If you want to argue that then you had better ask FEMA why they created CERT program. Because even the federal government knows that in a disaster situation the public services WILL NOT BE THERE FOR YOU. They can't. They'll be stretched way too thin. CERT stands for Community Emergency Response Team. I am a member and a block captain in my neighborhood with CERT. If there is a natural disaster we go around to the houses we are assigned to to see if we can offer any assistance. It is an unpaid, volunteer organization that is trained to offer basic first aid, help in shutting off the gas and electric into people's houses and a bunch of other stuff.

The government agencies are the 2nd, 3rd and 4th responders. This is not at all to slight they work they do but the fact of the matter is that when a crime happens it can take several minutes to hours before the police show. Violent crimes that result in death can happen in a couple of second. Unless the cop is standing there with his or hers gun drawn they are not going to stop a crime. The people must fill in that gap of time.

It wasn’t Gaige’s job to protest.

Gauge didn’t need a gun to protest yet he pointed one at Kyle.

Kyle was allowed to defend property, and he shouldn’t have needed to use his gun.

Kyle didn’t chase anybody. He was the one being chased, by Rosenbaum, who tried to take his weapon away.

After Rosenbaum was shot, Kyle tried to get to a police line, but Huber and Grosskreutz chased and attacked him.

So he never chased Rosenbaum like you claimed. He approached Rosenbaum to stop him from committing arson. (Thanks for admitting you lied to make it seem like you had a good argument.)

And he ran away from the conflict and Rosenbaum chased him. That means he escalated the situation two times. (Once when he chased Kyle, and again when he tried to take his AR-15, which is considered a ‘deadly attack’ because the weapon can be turned on the owner)

Any object used to attack is a weapon.(So he was an armed assailant.)

I guess the moral of the Kenosha story is:

Don’t commit multiple crimes and attack an armed hero.

Rittenhouse was running to put out a fire when ambushed by Rosenbaum. That was half a day of reviewing footage during the trial - the only person being chased was Rittenhouse. This was covered EXTENSIVELY during the trial.

Rosenbaum (a multiple felon) threatened to kill him and was actively trying to take the rifle before being killed, Huber (a multiple felon) hit him in the head with a skateboard twice before being killed, and Grosskreutz (a felon) pointed a Glock 27 at him before losing his right bicep. He missed a 4th attacker who kicked him in the head (while he was on the ground).

He was attacked by 4 people, all with the ability and will to kill him.
