It is sad. No one wants to understand that because each of us, our life experiences, have different POV. I am proud that I agree with the following quote:

Please don't take this wrong. I am making fun of the use of language. All humans have a very closed capacity naturally for seeing reality. That is generally due to our reliance on linguistic abilities outside our conscious designs. Yraditionally was also identified as an Eastern spiritual trait.

Ironically, the term woke is generally disparaged because of our normalized designs. The notion of woke therefore is inaccessible. So therefore IS being woke otherwise. I would not recommend being woke myself. But it does happen.

People like this are the antithesis (not to be confused with the imgflip user of that name) of liberal, if you accept the textbook or dictionary definition. The Founding Fathers were liberals. I can't think of a word that is sufficiently descriptive yet pejorative enough, so "leftist" will have to do. "Totalitarian" also comes to mind, but those can be found on both sides.
