1: EV's are charged by power plants- most of which are gas, oil, or coal fired.
2: Solar panels only work on sunny days, windmills only work when the wind blows. Also: both are incredibly expensive (resulting in very expensive electricity), and massively toxic to dispose of when they wear out.
-The idea of replacing replacing all internal combustion engines with battery powered electric motors is an illogical pipe dream at best.

Recovering rare earth minerals from the substrates used to make solar panels requires large quantities of exotic solvents (made from petrochemicals, by the way) and a lot of energy input (more than the new panel will produce in it's useful life. Also- all that toxic by-product will have to be dealt with (=even more energy input). Lithium Battery recycling is also energy intensive and toxic.
