I am quietly optimistic.

I'm no lawyer, nor am I a famous Hollywood actor who knows everything, but I speculate that short of jury nullification, he'll be found innocent.

I think he is screwed.

Remember that Texas election lawsuit that the SCOTUS refused to hear? Most are pretty sure, it is because they were "afraid of riots/repercussions" if they did anything.

Remember the trial of Chauvin? Yeah, people basically made it known that if they did not get the verdict they wanted, all hell was going to break loose, and the first to die would be the jury and judge.

Just today I read that people have been filming the jury in the Rittenhouse trial. The threat is clearly implied; "your life is over if this kid walks".
