Here is a sample salary table that was in effect last term for 3 weeks. It doesn't include Senators since they didn't exist yet.

The income inequality ratio (i.e. the difference in President vs. Citizen pay) is 5:1.

Hmm, in that case, we may have to switch over to a discussion to figure out what sounds like a good pay scale before we vote on the matter.

Everyone except the attorney general should get 3 bucks. And the attorney general should get a little more since he works so hard, so 420 dollars a week.
But seriously: the 300 for president down to 100 for citizens, (the Nerd proposal) works well for me.

My proposed table is based off the centrist model; I adjusted it so that it pays more proportionally to which jobs actually hold more power in the government. This is how much each position I propose be paid on a weekly basis.

President: $500
Vice President, HOC, HOS: $400

Members of Congress, Senate, former Presidents and Owners: $250

I've posted a couple tables as samples, but those are not the only options that exist. (F1Fan also created a sample salary table based on a 7.5:1 ratio). The government can choose whatever pay schedule it wants.

For ease of voting on this, I suggest each Congressperson choose one the following ratios:

1:1 (Communism)
2:1 (Socialism)
3:1 (Social democracy)
5:1 (Centrism)
7.5:1 (Capitalism)
10:1 (Hyper-Capitalism)

That'll give us an idea of what kind of pay table Congress wants, then we can tweak it in finer detail with later discussions.
