Granted gas prices are'nt quite this high everywhere -yet. I don't know about where you live, but here I'm paying well over a dollar more a gallon than last year at this time- with no end of increase in sight. PS: I just heard that Dollar Tree stores are changing their name to "Sawbuck Sycamore" 🙄

Maybe but Gorda, California is on the coast in central California and not in any state or national park. Their regular unleaded topped at $7.59 2 weeks ago. A gallon of premium topped out at $8.50.

That is true, however, Furnace Creek is not the only remote gas station. You cannot deny that gas prices jumped up by at least a dollar a gallon after Biden made us dependent on foreign oil again.

I thought energy independence was a bipartisan issue. But I guess I'm wrong. The Democrats want us to buy oil from countries who hate us rather than produce our own. Makes no sense to me at all. Maybe it is just TDS. TDS is if Trump did it then we have to do the polar opposite even if what Trump did was the right thing and what America has been wanting forever.

The article says that the average price in California is $4.59. That is about 90 cents more per gallon than where I live in Utah. Before Trump left office gas was around $2.29 per gallon in Utah.
