Why do I love that one? Because it's so wildly dishonest. It's a perfect example of how conservatives form a conclusion and then only accept data that supports that conclusion.
So what's the conclusion? Vaccines are bad. what's the data? a higher percentage of vaccinated people die than unvaccinated.
So, if you go and find the actual report that the first link is talking about.
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1001354/Variants_of_Concern_VOC_Technical_Briefing_17.pdf
The actual numbers are after Feb 1 (as of the writing of that report), the number of 2 dose vaccinated people who tested positive is 4,087. 26 of those people died.
Now let's compare that to unvaccinated. During that same time frame; 35,521 people who were unvaccinated tested positive for the Delta variant and 34 people died.
If you divide the number of deaths by the total number of people who tested positive for the Delta variant and found the rate of death to be 0.000957 for unvaccinated individuals and 0.00636 for those who have been inoculated.
Which is what the blog writers are doing. They're hoping you won't notice the 35,000 people vs the 4,000 people and you'll only look at 0.000957 and 0.00636 They're hoping you won't notice that the unvaccinated are HUGE number compared to the vaccinated. they're comparing 2 numbers that aren't i the same league as each other.
So, just look at the numbers. Who is getting sick more? Who is dying more?
It's clearly not the vaccinated.
The vaccinated are getting sick less by a whooping big amount, and they're dying less.
Like I said, fact. You keep using that word, but it doesn't mean what you think it means.
