Yes, they’re victimizers, but they’re also victims in a way

They're destroying my freedom and wellbeing, so my pity is in short supply.

TwoWayMirror believes we’re on the precipice of a civil war — and, well, all the right-wingers stockpiling war-grade weaponry at home, and rejecting election results they don’t like, and parading Confederate flags through the nation’s Capitol, certainly isn’t helping.

I’m a bit more optimistic than he is. I think somewhere deep down in the heart of the radicalized lady on the left here, she knows that it’s nice to have a modern country where she can go to the Big City and receive world-class healthcare when she needs a tumor extracted, even if that world-class healthcare happens to be delivered by a Democrat-voting immigrant (as it often is).

Unlike the lady on the right here, who has never had a taste of the comforts of the modern world, and never will.

They’re trapped in an abusive relationship with a Republican Party that feeds off their status anxiety and misguided patriotism.

And in turn, they take out their feelings of rage upon America itself — vis-a-vis every group that they believe is undeservedly doing better than them (immigrants, minorities, Millennials, the college-educated, LGBTQ, etc etc.)

they have my pity but they're contributing to a lot of death and destruction. people generally don't change bad behavior until they're punished.

they are too stupid to know they are sheep, and freely give away their money to a billionaire!
