That's not even a little bit true. Wisconsin only suspends the Duty To Retreat in your home, workplace, or vehicle. Rittenhouse was in none of those.

If you have the ability to avoid conflict, you MUST do so or it is not self defenses, and Rittenhouse was there COMPLETELY unnecessarily. The jury WILL be instructed - directly - to apply that rubric to the self-defense argument. It's the law.
