It's hard to engage in a meaningful dialog when a large percentage of conservatives are disconnected from reality. Over half of Republicans think the election was stolen and Trump actually won.
And that number is likely because they're not willing to admit it publically.
Also, their governing philosophy seems to be "own the libs." How can you come to a compromise with a group that their only goal is to piss you off?
I have sympathy for right wingers anymore. Even the ones that claim to be open minded will still vote for republicans that refuse to help America because libs

And this is why I don't support any parties. It's either empty shelves or lowering taxes while simultaneously raising them to build a large wall too keep out the "scary" mexicans who cannot even afford to feed their families.
