Actually they have strict protocols that keep this stuff from happening. They just were not followed.

Nah the protocols require things like all weapons to be marked, under lock and key until use, and about 3 people have to check the weapon before the actor is allowed to touch it. Then the weapon is given to the actor on the set right before recording the scene and then removed from the set and locked up right after the scene. You can look it up. It's part of their union contract.

And every cast member and crew can ask to see it being loaded!

Really??? You never hear about the accidents which are stopped because people had proper training! You only hear about the accidents the result because people did not get training.

it will take a government mandate to make everybody get NRA trained.
