I actually have made an effort to watch some of those Watch Later videos! I have only 4,970 left to go!

That is so YouTube. I have actually watched over 1,000 videos on my Watch Later playlist, and have added up to 7,000 more on more Watch Later playlists, just because of all the recommendations. Since the max you can add to one playlist is 5,000, I actually created 2 more Watch Later playlists, just so I could save all of my Watch Later videos as I "needed"

similar things happen to me, I add something to watch later thinking 'yeah I'll watch it soon' but later when I go through my watch later list I'm like meh the recommendations are better, it's like a video becomes less attractive when you add it to watch later
