Do you believe, she believes what she said?

Oh so you're going to pretend the Obama Justice Department didn't spy on Trump's campaign, his son, and also spy on Carter Page? Nothing to see here. Move along.

Don’t be jealous of successful people, StanHalen. Instead work to improve your own lot in life rather than blaming others.

I was responding to you saying "How bout if we lower taxes? Will they lower the price of their products?" To which I said "Well yes, in the form of prices stabilizing to market forces. Of course they will." ...Meaning, this is how supply-side economics works. Not much more I can say. If you don't 'get how supply-side economics works' then I guess I can't help you. Here is a good video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqLjyA0hL1s

There is another video on YT claiming that Supply Side economics can be debunked in 2 minutes. This, despite the US economy experiencing the largest period of economic growth in the history of the United States during the Reagan years of the 1980s (mostly from 1982-1988).

I mean your vid is somewhat interesting but it didn't really get into possible effects of lower income tax on the prices of goods...(?)

Theoretically a company COULD lower prices if they are taxed less.... Or COULD give their little worker bees pay raises. However nothing about lower corporate taxes necessarily forces them to do either of those things. They could simply pocket the difference and throw it in the pile.

For example according to Tax Policy Center more than 60% of the previous administration's tax cuts went to people in the top 20% of the income ladder. I heard somewhere that much of it also went towards corporate stock buybacks.

Okay, let me try to explain it like this. Poor people don't invest. You need to incentivise corporate investment by the rich. No one said capitalism is perfect, but it is the best way to bring goods and services to market. You also need to understand that when democrats say "tax cuts for the rich" this is code for them wanting to stoke class warfare and implement Venezuelan Socialism (See Mark Levin's American Socialism). Someone has to make money, I'd rather it be big business than big government. Someone has to get rich. I don't have a problem with the rich getting richer if the poor is being brought along with it. And I would say that the reason you and I see an ever increasing gap between the rich and the poor is due to less fathers in the home. It has very little to do with the distribution of wealth or corporate greed (not that there isn't any corporate greed). Larry Elder is right, in the 1960s, before black women married the state, children from black families were performing academically at par with white kids, and that was when we had MORE racism, would you agree? This is largely due to fatherless homes.

Me: Do income taxes lower prices of products?

You: ................................................................................................................................ venezuelan socialism..........................................................................................................................................................black families with fatherless homes...

???

Wtf are you talking about bruh? What does any of that have to do with the prices of products here in America?

[image deleted] We have mountains of data showing raising income taxes raises the cost of doing business which is passed down to consumers, raising the prices of products. Socialism has failed everywhere it's been tried. The Democrats want to destroy the middle class and small business. Small business is the lifeblood of America. Why can't you see that? I give up.

Ok once again your reply /rant appears somewhat incoherent but it looks like this time, I am to blame.... I made a typo. So let me try again.

Me: Do *LOWER income taxes lower prices of products?

You: ................................................................................................................................ venezuelan socialism..........................................................................................................................................................black families with fatherless homes...

Okay, stop insulting me, you troll. You were ALWAYS TO BLAME, as I never was, I was the one being trolled by you from the beginning.

Did you watch the video on the Laffer Curve? No. I didn't think so, because if you had, you wouldn't be trolling me still. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqLjyA0hL1s

Here's another one from the great John Stossel - The Great American Tax Ripoff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEUVxl7W-y0&t=36s

Here's another from from Dave Ramsey
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQJbBYwhQWQ

But don't take their word for it, here's someone you may have heard of, saying the same thing, John F. Kennedy, who WOULD be a conservative republican today if running for President.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEdXrfIMdiU

Now, I have a question for you. Why do YOU and your ilk have a problem with market forces determining prices? Why do you hold on to the notion that state controls can do a better job than the invisible hand of the market?
0 ups, 3y
I'm sorry, it's just I am failing to see how your replies so far relate to my question.

And no, you're wrong.... I did watch the video on the laffer curve. Watched it twice now.

Seems to me the most relevant part might be the part regarding the Hawley-Smoot Tariff Bill of 1930... However it didn't mention an effect on price, it only mentions the effect it had on the revenue generated for the government. Unfortunately my question was not about govt revenue, nor was it about tariffs. Did I miss something in the video?

To answer your question... Idk if
you have noticed but prices have recently been increasing due to increased post-pandemic global demand and less supply. Me and my ilk aren't the ones complaining about it. And speaking of which....... do you even have 1 single example or quote of me ever actually being an advocate for the govt controlling the price of goods? $20 says you do not.

Let me know when you have an answer to my original question. Maybe scroll up and read it again. I'm starting to think you simply do not have anything relevant to say about it. Idk. Prove me wrong.

Venezuelan Socialism seeks to abolish private property rights. This is what AOC wants to implement.
