That photo of protestors "storming" the capitol, followed by the video at the bottom of the article is proof positive that people were in the Capitol building on Jan 6th. This is the absolutely the most normal looking event I have ever seen. Each one of them was not armed in anyway when they stormed in at a slow and gentle pace. Towards the end of the video you can clearly see that the rioters were not doing anything out of the ordinary.

Oh the horror of it all. Such absolute and damming evidence of the storming in of the rioters into the Capitol building showing the absolute lack of any kind of riot or even an organized event.

The pace at which they decided to break the law isn't really the issue at hand. Are the leisurely law breakers guilty of the same crimes as the ones who actively assaulted police? Probably not all the same crimes.

Not everyone protesting in DC was a rioter. But everyone who entered the capitol building through a broken door and window is likely guilty of participating. That's for a jury to say.

I agree. Of the possibly 10's maybe 100's of thousands of protestors that showed up in DC on Jan 6th only about 300 of them rioted in the Capitol building.

Clearly they did not go into the Capitol building with the intent on rioting. They didn't bring any weapons or other tools to commit this violence. This was definitely NOT an insurrection. They peacefully entered the building and at some point (which the government will not release that footage) something caused those people to riot. I want to know what the trigger was.

As far as Antifa/BLM the peaceful protesters went home when it got dark. So did the news crews. The violence happened AFTER it got dark and the damage they caused is so much worse than the Jan 6th riots. Antifa/BLM WAS an insurrection. Antifa are communists who are intent on destroying our Constitution, our way of life, "western values" and our "colonialism" and replacing it with crappy Marxist government that will oppress the world. Interestingly the World Economic Forum and the UN have the exact same goals. So does AOC. So do the people who are pulling Biden's puppet strings.

Three permit was for 30,000, but I don't see any real estimate of crowd size. Hundreds of thousands seems high, but could be.

They broke into the capitol building chanting hang Mike Pence after building a gallows with the intent of rioting. They also wanted Pelosi. I will grant that but everyone there knew the plan, but some did. The others had been primed and radicalized to be up for anything. There are also accounts of other protesters trying to talk the rioters out of it.

Is it possible there are things on unreleased video that changes things - I suppose, but I can't think of what it could be that no rioter has mentioned.

Your definition of insurrection is off. Race riots have happened for all of our history, including the new York draft riots during the civil war where the Irish rioted against being drafted. They suck but they aren't an insurrection. They weren't an attempt to actually storm the capitol and change the results of an election.

I think there are parallels - people with perceived injustice reacting violently. I have all sorts of sympathy for the Jan 6 people. They reacted to a lie. They were primed by a liar who they wrongly trusted. If Trump was telling the truth then the rioters were actually Patriots. But that's the thing - it wasn't true.

You do know the globalist conspiracy has been a red herring since before Henry Ford published the international Jew? Maligning your political enemies and minorities and implying they are part of an international plot is a tried and true method of making one group feel like they are under attack. It lets people justify so, so many things.

I don't recall ever seeing any counts or permits in the news back then so I was just guesstimating. All I really know is that there were a whole lot of people there.

The 300 in the capitol came from an article that someone posted here several months ago. They estimated that there were around 300 people.

That gallows was cheaply built. There is no way that anyone could seriously think that they could execute anyone with that thing. If they tried the whole thing would have fallen apart. It was just a symbol.

I don't know about the chanting to hang Pence. I hadn't heard that before.

BLM (the movement not the organization) rioted because of race issues. Antifa and BLM (the organization) were both fronts for communism. Antifa is the modern incarnation of an anti Nazi pro communist group from the 1920's and 30's. The modern version very inaccurately accuses people of being Nazi so they have a target for their violence. Their goal is collapsing the economy and nation through anarchy and then allowing communism to take its place. BLM (the organization) had the same goals printed on their website.

If you are rioting and destroying businesses to try to accomplish those goals then that is insurrection.

BLM (the movement) was protesting a false narrative promoted by the left that the police are out to kill black people for the fun of it. Stats just do not bare out those facts. Cops kill a lot more innocent white people than blacks.

I have heard about all of those globalist conspiracy theories all my life. I used to believe them until about 20 years ago when I lost interest in them and realized there were no hard facts behind any of them.

What I am talking about is not theory but fact. And it is very easy to prove. It is not some shadow organization. It is the World Economic Forum and the UN. They have produced documentation that you can access on their websites that show what their goals are.

The language of the Great Reset is obscured slightly with talks of fighting climate change and COVID-19. The UN's Agenda 21 and 2030 (for the century and year it will be implemented) is alll about climate change. There are 17 goals that when you realize that in order to accomplish those goals individual freedom becomes obsolete.

This is more serious than talks about the Illuminati, etc. And this is actually happening right now.

Actually they are - at least what they're being charged with.
I haven't looked into it, but I had heard last week that for some inexplicable reason they're being charged with minor crimes such as tresspassing - nothing about rioting or assault or intent to do harm or insurrection.
