I'm doing what's in the stream's best interest. This is a recurring point of dispute, and you have a poor track record on the matter, not to mention, half of congress has no vested interest in how this law actually affects the stream. If we go with your way, there are going to be a lot of angry people, you're going to do something stupid and unfeature a ton of crap, there's probably gonna be a whole imeachment trial again, congress votes nay, you cross the line again, and we end of right back here. Or we can do it my way, and at least most people can have some semblance of happiness.

I have replacements, there are plenty of past mods who did a good job and are willing to step in to approve stuff

well...early, early. like the first couple ones. really the only one that was obnoxious at times was ship-ship, but most “fights” were light hearted ones. at least to my memory.

ship-shap is the reason mudslinging got banned in the first place, it was so bad XD
the first election was relatively mellow, sloth (kyliefan at the time) was trying to go after Kate the Grate, but that was about it

yeah i remember that. i wonder what would change if ship shap had never started mudslinging, and half whit was never pressured into enacting that law...someone would come around, at some point, to do the same. but still, it’d be later and maybe not spread so quickly.
