60% of republicans now believes violence is acceptable because of politics. The other 40% will not do anything to stop them when it happens. If you are one or the other, doesn’t matter.

Well I agree with you that standing idly by as people do bad things is wrong, but I’m curious about your numbers. I’m a registered Republican but I’m pretty moderate, meaning that I’m socially liberal and fiscally conservative. Do what makes you happy as long as you’re not hurting anybody, but leave me alone and don’t waste my money. So with that said would you say I’m in the 60% or the 40%?

First my apologies. It’s 40% ok with violence, it’s 60% that still believe the election was fraudulent.
Now as a registered Republican, if you don’t stand up and denounce the 40%, you are just standing by. Don’t want to be a useless bystander? Speak up now and not to me. I am ready to fight too. Fight to make sure everyone that can vote is able to. I don’t need threats or guns to fight for that either.
Remember, the Democrats didn’t refuse to acknowledge Trump won despite fewer votes. We didn’t threaten republicans with execution for counting votes properly that gave Trump his electoral win. We didn’t pass laws making it ok to run over people exercising their constitutional right to protest.
It’s all one side. Maybe you need to rethink who you have been voting for.

Okay, let’s rewind. I didn’t vote for Trump, I don’t like Trump, and I think pretty much all politicians are self-serving garbage.

Now, I do speak up. Violence is only acceptable in certain situations and a difference of opinion isn’t among them. I didn’t say anything about Democrats that I didn’t also apply to Republicans, so let’s clear that up shall we? We all have our wackos as you surely agree.

Now with the other stuff. Only citizens or legal permanent residents should vote in our elections. I believe that and haven’t heard any argument that changed my mind. Second, out of all citizens and permanent residents every one should be able to vote. Antifa is trash not because of their ideology but because of their tactics. It’s not okay to bully people into believing what you believe.

Lastly, all elections are a mess because we’re forced to choose the lesser of the evils. Until that changes we will never see a difference.
