yeah. I read a lot about these seeing as someone Im close too has one, and a lot of what Paula is talking about can be interpreted as something like DID or similar Disorders

Well- thats a theory. but also: maybe in the begining she's always had DID.
Originally Paula was a dude on imgflip, and then when they wanted to pretend to be a girl for a day they changed there name and realized you couldn't change it back until after 30 days we know this is true already.
and then maybe some time before the 30 months an Alter got an Idea and just took Paula's body over, and never gave it back. usually systems have Alters that make sure this never happens- but not always.
so then Paula couldn't get control again and this Alter has been being an Imposter and pretending to be Paula as a girl for a long time, and then They decided to end it all on imgflip and do what they did. (and who knows what happened IRL if this were the case
and now that Paula maybe the system started to merge- and Paula merged with the Alter that took control- so Now Paula has Some control over the system.
Thats why some times Paula is acting normal and others *Points to the above image* that. and thats why she keeps mentioning merging, and how that person pretended to be her- and other stuff-

Yea, that could make a lot of sense. Maybe Paula was an alter, and an age regressor? That would explain why she acted childish. And then Paula as an alter took it over, as you were saying- and paula keeps talking in morse about how it wont stop, and needing help- im getting really concerned not gonna lie- it seems like its getting serious

yeah- Typically Systems that lack an Alter to make sure Other alters don't stay in control- go CRAZY when someone tries to admit they have DID. so I guess your lover is lucky they have an Alter like that (even if they don't know they do that probably do. lots of times people have dozens of alters and almost never find out about them)
