Feed it to the sharks. Then, you'll never have a problem with that phone every again.

Hmm, just go to a phone shop (whatever brand you're using), and ask them to do something...?

Hair dryer. Maybe.

Back in my oven, I used an oven with a pilot to gently warm things for a few hours that such happened too, but nothing as complex as a phone.

I actually watched a video of some guy testing out various drying methods for a phone. The longest was rice at 10 days, about the same for silica and cat litter, letting the phone sit and air out was 3 days I think and the shortest method was putting it into a pillow case and taping the end of a vacuum into that and setting it into reverse to air dry. That took a few hours. Hair dryer I guess would be a similar effect so long as it was not hot air. As it turned out i never got around to trying the hair dryer and just let it be. Seems ok now.

At least it's better now.
Just be careful leaving it near anything flamable, just in case.

On the Rockford Files, Jim used to store his gun in a jar of ground coffee to protect it from Pacific moisture, as he lived next to the beach.

If possible, take off the back and take out the battery and let it air out for a day or 2

Rice is good because it absorbs water by it can get stuck in the charging port
