i use various blocks of ore for the corners

mine has a 3x3 portal so i can put it in my base and it connects to my above bedrock nether hub

Make a trainway making mobs go into the nether region and the railway continues into a end portal so they die. 🙂

i Put Glowstone in the corners and then make it as big as i can with a huge room to boot

as big as possible
