You're a lil Biotch who took my first comment wrong...
somehow you thought I was attacking you and you've been whining ever since.
Maybe grow up a bit and check which side I'm on before you go attacking a fellow Liberal.
Your next comment better be an apology or you get blocked and ignored like the child you are.

"Grow up a little bit?"
Says the guy who can't handle being clapped.
To think this is all because you got bent out of shape to a satirical comment about participation awards. smh.

I mean this all started because I gave you a participation trophy. I can't imagine being such a snowflake that I'd work so hard to trigger someone.

By the way, gj with your meme. Stick figures are indeed a good place for basic memers to start their memeing career. I encourage you to develop your skills.

Communism is perfect in theory, but when put into practice(i.e. Soviet Union, etc.) it falls apart because of greed
2 ups, 3y
Because only a perfect person/s as leader/s can make that work (if the people really trust the person and the person is immortal as to not instantly become hesitant about the government when a new leader starts to lead.) To put it simply, the imperfections of man trickle down to the rest of the population proportionately to the amount power that is centralized. This could mean the corruptness of the people who are voting, or the corruptness of a few people who hold significant power. Though, I admit, direct rule by the people would be better this way (as long as there isn't force or harassment by an opposing side to vote a certain way, the harassment part which kind of sounds like the US right now).

Authoritarian Communism is not Liberal(tarian) communism.

Yeah, I'm just saying that it is much easier for it to become authoritarian, setting aside democracy. Every communist regime that's happened has always shortly evolved into a government of centralized power, as fear is usually always implemented because most people in the countries didn't actually want to keep doing communism after seeing the consequences of the inefficiencies of a state-run system. It's totally fine if the people want to have things state-run, but there'd probably be fear of dissent even if they wanted to switch back, because of the extreme potential for corruption and swift crushing of dissent from the people who would probably use that power for evil. China is a perfect example of this, as people wanted the communist regime because they thought it would be great, but Mao swiftly took centralized control and has established a line of dictators leading China and crushing dissent ever since.

I don't ascribe to the fallacy of ignorance, in that you're suggesting it won't work because it hasn't worked.

There is no blueprint for communism. If we hold with Marx’s view of history as a matter of interplay between what he calls the base (the mode of production) and the superstructure (the law, the culture, the apparatuses of the state, our morals, and, basically, everything else in human society), then we can’t predict with real accuracy where we are being led by the next stage. But we can talk a little about how we might get there.

No transition in the mode of production has ever been smooth, nor has it been particularly quick. The transition in Europe from feudalism to capitalism took even longer than the director’s cut of Titanic. It had its own vanguard: Intellectuals like John Locke, Adam Smith, and David Ricardo provided instructions for the leaders of the modern state and its partner economy. It’s useful to note that all these stars of classical economics had died before Marx even learned to read. Yet, theirs are the thoughts on which the poorly functioning neoliberal policy of the present still rests. Theirs are the thoughts on which many lives are ended early or lived in blank servitude.

More people have died under communist regimes per capita (when compared to other governments of the time) than under the government of the United States. Plus they have less quality of life because there is much less room for implementation of new ideas, like the innovation the capitalist system actively supports. If the Soviets were cut off from the rest of the world until 2020, I'm pretty sure there would be much less quality of life there. Because less advances in medical care, more pollutants from more primitive technologies, etc. the Soviets had to steal most of their technology from the United States, like pretty much everything that the Soviets claimed to have made themselves. I'm not trying to offend you, but why do you think capitalism is blank servitude? Btw Dinesh Dsouza could probably explain my idea better than me.
