Yes, I've seen this before. It's that dreaded socialism that they like to attribute to Hitler because he claimed to be a socialist when he was rising to power. However, he only claimed to be one to appease voters and never really was.
Yeah, my read is that it's their children who can't come to terms with how their parents fought to crush that girl who are trying to erase that history for their children.
The indoctrination runs deep and it's in their schools in the south. They teach about things like the positive points of slavery (an actual lesson I saw that some high school student snapped a pic of during class). They hate critical race theory because it's the opposite of what they've been teaching their kids in school all this time. That's why they hate all things "woke." I think they know on some level that they're a dying breed which is why they're fighting so hard for their way of life and way of thinking.
Exactly. Equality is a bad word. Ending discrimination is like a death knell for their entire way of life. But they're hypocrites and liars because many of them are LGBTQ but they're having to hide it or not discuss it. Like Cheney's daughter when that reporter asked him about her, he was gritting his teeth so hard I thought they were going to pop out of his head.
