I don't find it offensive per se, but an odd business choice given the demographic.

Using trans models in fashion magazines makes sense, because what the consumers are interested in is the clothes and make up. As long as the model makes them look good, it's all good.

Playboy is a sex magazine, as such the readers are interested in what's under the bunny costume. Now, this model is appealing to certain demographics, but not to the typical playboy Consumer.

All conservatives don't have the same opinion on this issue. A good many conservatives support freedom for adults to live their lives as they wish as long as others are not harmed (and children should be protected as always). I don't consider Playboy to be pornography. Others might disagree and that is fine. I know that most men like to look at good-looking women but I would venture to say that most men don't like to look at good-looking men in women's attire. I think my meme supports that way of thinking.
