Article 5: Congress
Section 1: Congress shall be formed of 15 members. The President, VP, and HOC shall pick 4 members each. The 3 Empty seats shall be filled by the runner ups. If they choose not to participate, Vacancies will be filled by the HOC.
Section 2: Congress shall propose and vote on rules for the stream. A simple majority (8-7) will pass normal bills, and the President will either enact it, or veto it. If the bill is vetoed, then ⅔ supermajority will pass it.
Section 3: ⅔ supermajorities are required for constitutional amendments and impeachments.
Section 4: Vacancies In congress shall be filled by who appointed them.
Section 5: Stream owners are NOT to interfere with Congressional votes.
Section 6: In case of ANY tie, the Vice President casts the tie breaking vote.
Article 6: Senate
Section 1: The Senate consists of users elected to represent different streams.
Section 2: Each stream may appoint one Senator through any method they please.
Section 3: Any stream listed on imgflip.com/streams may participate.
Section 4: Streams that are too similar to another larger stream may not participate (e.g. LGBTQ_too is too similar to LGBTQ).
Section 5: IMGFLIP_PRESIDENTS itself has no Senator aside from the HOS.
Section 6: The Senate votes on foreign policy matters, not internal affairs in specific streams, and the HOS casts the tie-breaking vote.
Article 7: Owner
Section 1: The Owner shall be responsible for holding elections and transfers of power. Nothing else.
Section 2: They are not to interfere with Congress votes, trials, or impeachments. They are not to run for office. But they may vote in elections.
Section 3: Owners cannot remove an elected official without Congress voting with the necessary supermajority to impeach.
Article 8: Impeachment
Section 1: In order to remove a person in power, 2 Officials (President, VP, HOC, Member of Congress, or Owner) must call for an impeachment, what offence was committed, and who is responsible. A trial shall then be held by one of the judges from the Courtroom stream and after giving his verdict Congress shall vote, with a ⅔ supermajority required to impeach. Stream owners are NOT to interfere with this process. As usual, the Vice President casts the tie-breaking vote if necessary. However, if the Vice President is the one being impeached, then the Head of Congress casts the tie-breaking vote instead.
