I heard Fauci this morning telling us we must give up our individual liberty for the greater good. Karl Marx would be so proud of Fauci right now. So would Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Castro, Guevara and Chavez.

The parallels to 1930s Germany are plentiful.

We homeschool and have been teaching about the causes of WWI and WWII recently so it's fresh in our minds.

Everyone said the point of the vaccine is so that the pandemic would be over, and we wouldn't have to wear masks... And yet on all federal lands you must wear a mask indoors regardless of vaccination status. Sooo... what gives?

Do I care though? Why should I care about other people's medical choices? And anyway, it's not like I trust politicians.

If I get sick, I stay home from school until I get better. This is common sense. Please stop telling me what to do.

I care about people, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna get a vaccine.

The vaccine protects you and other people. If you get vaccinated, the chance of you getting infected is lower, and therefore the chance of you spreading it to others is lower too.

You do realize that asymptomatic transmission has been proven to not be a thing, right?

Healthy unvaccinated people walking around are not hotbeds of virus, shedding it left and right. As opposed to vaccinated people shedding spike proteins, but I digress...

All the same stuff that applies to mitigating spread of every other virus applies here. Wash your hands. Est healthy. Hydrate. And if you're sick, take Zicam and stay home until you're well.

But that's no fun to the dictators and Karens who want to control everyone else's life...
