I didn't see that at all. Check this out:

This is an auditorily edited rendition of the scene. I use this video for reference of time stamps:
It's already funny enough with the dreaded Dark Troopers, far more lethal than any assassin, especially in numbers, miss over 10 shots that weren't even deflected or juked. I started noting the timeslots in which there should have been better choreography. After I was finished, the scene felt more like a combat scene for the elderly. (Sorry Mark Hamill, love you bro.) But, if you go over the video and look at each of the points I highlight, you'll see what I mean.
Two shots at 1:22
Could have pulled the trigger twice at 1:31, but just kept walking into a sword.
Missed a shot at 1:44 at point blank Then another droid, even closer at 1:45
2:11 Droid waits for 3 seconds before firing at point blank, but misses, shoots again at the same spot, gets deflected.
3:11 The droids are shooting at the lightsaber OVER HIS HEAD.
3:12 Droid on the right when the camera is behind Luke, shoots at him twice and misses, point blank.
3:16 a shot whizzes past his head, perceivably no where near him.
3:19 two more shots missed.
3:21 Two more shots missed... at point blank.
3:22 shot whizzes over his left side, lightsaber no where to be seen.
3:22 (Camera facing luke, lightsaber behind his head) Droid on the right has a free shot for 3 seconds. Waits to fire.
3:32 A Dark Trooper gets taken out of commission after Luke throws the head of another droid at another droids head.... That's all it takes? You don't need a lightsaber Luke, just a baseball bat. Good old Oak Baseball bat will absorb those blaster shots and all you gotta do is bash in some tinfoil apparently.
3:34 Shot goes over Luke's shoulder. Even with his dodge, it still would have missed.
This did Luke no service. This was actually embarrassing. They dumbed down the droids for him. As they used droids for comic relief in episodes two and three. I loved the droids in episode one.
I was stunned, actually. How come the same extremely critical fandom who was so critical of the KK sequels, overlook this comedy of events? Then it became clear to me. It's not that Luke was better than Rey. It was just Luke Fanboism. Of course, that isn't to say there's other reasons for it, but I would point out that it's either that or a mix of fanboism and an anti-KK Disposition.
