It is a genuine concern that all pretense of "innocent until proven guilty" no longer exists. As a society it now totally UNACCEPTABLE to even voice hesitancy in passing judgement. Does it look like he did it from reports from the media - hell yes! But this is the same media not trusted to even deliver the weather!

That's all well and good however he returned from their trip, talked to cops after her parents filed a missing persons report then he split. He knows they want to talk to him again, best case, he feels the heat and they find him dead by suicide.
