Politician HYPOCRITE Alert! Her level of "reassurance" let's her violate rules that we commoners would go to jail for violating!

I think we're seeing a trend when it comes to Mayor Breed.

And I love her quote about people being vaccinated giving her reassurance. It's *almost* like all the crap that the Fauci-sheep have tried to get everyone to believe about wearing masks means nothing to her elitist a$$. Yeah, almost.

For the sake of discussion, let's say you did read the order. On what page does it say that it's okay for her to do what you said is okay?

The only exception that could possibly be twisted to apply to her was for "actively eating or drinking". But she wasn't "actively" eating or drinking while dancing, was she? The videos support the fact that she was NOT actively eating or drinking while dancing.

It also says, "People are urged to be seated at a table or positioned at a stationary counter or place while eating or drinking." It doesn't sound like the order considers dancing in a crowded club to be seated at a table, am I right?

Further, the order states: "Failure to comply with any of the provisions of this Order constitutes an imminent threat and menace to public health". Ha! Mayor Breed is an imminent threat and menace to public health! I knew it! (but why am I not surprised?)

Here's another quote of hers: "Make sure you are vaccinated because of the requirements, but don't feel as though you have to be micro-managed about mask wearing. We don't need the fun police to come in and tell us what we should or shouldn't be doing. We know what we need to do to protect ourselves." Good gawd man, she sounds like a conservative!

And this: “No, I’m not going to sip and put my mask on, sip and put my mask on, sip and put my mask on, eat and put my mask on, while I’m eating and I’m drinking. I’m going to leave my mask off.”

btw, SSTTUUTTAA, I live and work in one of the 8 bay area counties that has issued a similar order to that of SF. While it's not voluntary, I am wearing a mask as I type this, and when I consumed food or drink at lunch today, I lowered the mask, shoved in the food or drink, and then raised the mask until the next round. It wasn't that hard to do. But I guess following her own city's rule is too much to ask of a hypocrite like mayor Breed?

Why should anybody follow the ordinance when the mayor flaunts her behavior *not* following it? Hell, my mask is coming off for lunch tomorrow!

I agree that the order is a little bit much but I just don't get why conservatives are turning this into such a big deal when you have red state people who are banning the use of masks.

If you want to get into Latinos and black people not wanting to get vaccinated because of Tuskegee or because they think it's fake, well that's another topic. and it hinges on their belief in fake news.

It's not a comparison between a blue city and a red state or red states. It's a straight criticism of the fact that she's ignoring her own city's health order; an order that she signed!

Maybe where you live, they're a bit more "liberal" when it comes to mask wearing, but here they're very strict, as liberal govts often are when it comes to mask wearing, and this is just one *more* example of one of our elected officials completely ignoring the rules that the rest of us have to live by. (are you listening, Gov. Nussolini??? 🙄)

It is hilariously ironic, imo, that she's quoted as saying something that a conservative might say about not needing to be micro managed when it comes to mask wearing, because she thinks the person knows what's best for them. I think she's utterly clueless about how hypocritical that comes across and how it lands with the average bay area citizen.

I'm not a conservative, btw (and definitely not a liberal) but if a conservative mayor did the same things, I'd be all over that person for the very same reasons I'm criticizing mayor Breed. I don't have to agree with the health order to criticize someone who makes others follow it, while refusing to follow it her own damn self.

And no, I do not want to get into "Latinos and black people not wanting to get vaccinated because of Tuskegee or because they think it's fake" That seems to me like it's driftng off topic, and I'd prefer to stay on point.

Criminals like Abbott and DeSantis need to go to jail. London breed might be a hypocrite but at least she's trying to do something even if it's not that effective. At least she's not banning masks.

The first and most obvious thing to say is that had this exact same behavior come from a mayor with whom you have political differences, i.e. a "red city" mayor, I'm confident that you would be screaming bloody murder.

Second, I just have to smile at what she said here (which I put in my last post): "No, I’m not going to sip and put my mask on, sip and put my mask on, sip and put my mask on, eat and put my mask on, while I’m eating and I’m drinking. I’m going to leave my mask off.”

The reason I have to smile, is because that's exactly what I do when I'm at work. Being indoors, and being under essentially the same health order that mayor Breed signed, I take my mask off, take a sip of coffee, then put my mask back on. I take my mask off, take a bite of my lunch sandwich, then put my mask on.

So that can be boiled down to its essence, which is, why does she feel she does not need to follow the rules she makes for us little people?

Smacks of ELITISM, doesn't it?

Oh, and one last thing... I still seriously doubt that you've read the health order, as you said you did. I'll give you a pass on that (not that I have that power...) because it seems like a reasonably trivial thing to say in response to what I posted. Not good though... what if you were a politician??? (making myself smile with that question 🤨)

Yeah look she's a hypocrite and the order is a little bit too much. Especially since the people who are not vaccinating in that area are black and latino.

All the white liberals who do the mask selfies in the vaccine selfies were early adopters.

And the other races I mentioned look at them like they're cuckoo and they hold off cuz it's a "liberal white thing".

You spout 'facts' as if you've actually done the research. And in this case, your 'facts' seem to be a bit on the racist side.

And of course, you absolutely stay OFF-point with every one of your comments. In this one, you almost had it with that first sentence. But after that, a total train derailment.

Many hobbies are "white". Many things are "liberal". Many things are "conservative". Many things are "non-white". I didn't make this country racist and politically polarized, it chose to be that way.

That excuse does not make any sense at all because even with the vaccine you can carry and suffer from the virus.....and what more, that is what the liberals keep telling us that all of the time!
