Banning abortion and mandatory vaccination are both totalitarian government overreach, but the right believes it's fine because it will save lives.

Mandatory vaccination already exists in the military and the medical communities and has been found constitutional by the Supreme Court.

When I was getting the anthrax vaccine, I asked if I actually had to get it, and the doctor said, "no, but the time to make that decision is before you enlist and get a job that sends you where you need it."

I don’t need to silence the ignorant. Go blame a mod if it makes you feel better.

Until you prove to me that a fetus isn't a human stop silencin me

Several ppl have already. A fetus is about as alive as a plant and it is a literal parasite to whoever carries it. Also no one’s really silencing you because they just simply disagree with you.

Before you go making that claim...
1) Define "human"
2) Define "life"
3) Define "Sentience"
4) Define "alive"
5) Show me proof where a 2mo fetus meets all of that criteria. Then we can talk about it.

I agree with you, but dang, from an argumentation perspective, way to try and move the goalposts to freaking Jupiter.

No, that's not moving the goalposts. That's establishing the definitions in terminology of the discussion, which is relevant to my argumentative points. It is on these points that I form my opinion on abortion, and pro choice.

You're right about goalposts, I meant more "set the bar." You're also correct about those things being the foundation for your opinion. Someone with a different opinion than us and a strong foundation in philosophy could argue about the damage to the human race by the willful destruction of *potential* life. That was one of the most interesting conversations I ever had. That point and other concepts he taught me have been an interesting lens to use in evaluating situations where I needed to make ethical choices. The purely scientific evaluation is not the only valid approach to ethical issues. I recommend not refusing to discuss a topic unless someone agrees to only discuss the points you find supportive of your argument. Sorry about the poor word choice before; hope this is clear.

That's not what I was doing, I was going to highlight where we differ on our opinions on these definitions. That neither of us wants to bend or change these definitions. My opinion is based on science - in that what we can see, record and observe from empirical data. Much of the definitions that the right wing places on these definitions are wholly sentimental.

That said, in spite of abortions, people are still having children anyway. Matter of fact, the great birth killer right now is our economy as younger and younger people are having children less and less as they can't afford it.

the virus has a complete lack of any rights, meaning it is technically an outlaw, also when a virus reproduces it makes another virus, when a women and a man reproduce they make a human
2 ups, 3y
Yet, still, rather than abort the virus, most right-wing Texans let it reproduce freely.
