If the only people having s*x were married people, the average parent would be more responsible and the children would have better homes.

These are the real problems in our society. People getting divorced more than staying together. Teens getting pregnant. Kids are much better when they're raised by both a mom and dad.

Kids are better off when they are raised by a loving parent or 2 or more like an extended family. Plenty of successful, well adjusted people grew up in Single parent households. Having a drunk, inattentive or abusive parent is not good even when there is another parent there with them. 1 good parent alone is better than if they are married to a loser.

This. The real issues we're facing are the morons who skip out on their partner when suddenly they're faced with the prospect of supporting a child.

It would be more efficient to just have a report system and then make him pay child support.
