Several years ago I had a FB friend, from Denmark, who, like yourself, was a writer. He wrote non-fictions psychology books. He felt trapped on FB because it was the biggest platform for him to promote his books but at the same time FB HATES the right. He was more libertarian and he loved to correct those American socialist snowflakes who Bernie Sanders has convinced that Denmark is paradise. He hated Denmark and eventually he left. He believes the left are all, each and everyone of them, narcissists. They demand that everyone else change for them and in their image. He's not wrong.
One day he just vanished from FB and MeWe as well and I haven't heard from him since.
