2: Fix the balance of power. The current administration spent the first six weeks trying to eliminate the courts, supreme court and president. 3: I'm the only president running that will actually be online 9 outta 10 days. Price already quit the stream for school. BeHapp is online every day, but has virtually no activity on this stream. Is Luigi online? Is he still campaigning? No idea. The kaiju party is changing daily. If you can't keep a party together for two weeks to run, how do you keep it together for two months?
4: the current administration has made a very deliberate effort to have a 24/7 war with the owners and mods. And no matter what dumbass TOS violation they do, everything is the mods and owners fault. From their HOC trying to bring his personal war with OP here, to their appointed communist premier's harrassment of Scar and now Envoy & other owners, the RUP doesn't understand the chain of command. The first act I will do if elected will be getting rid of perms bans.

My main goal is to keep freedom and equality brimming in this stream, with no perma bans and LGBTQ+ content safe for work.

The difference between me and other candidates is fairly simple. I joined the stream during the beez era, which pushed me to more freedom of speech, and when trump won in Imgflip, he was ousted for not getting votes from followers, even though he was elected before the new rule was put into place.. so this gave me a sense of “we need to protect democracy at all costs.” Aside from that, I am the only candidate who is promising to add more sentimental new roles and stuff, like a meme school and a head of newspaper role in elections.

The thing I have problems with in the current government is that there feels like a big disconnect between people and the congress- I don’t get a window in to see what’s happening there, so I feel as if I need to change that and make it abundantly clear what happens in congress.

1. Create a senate with the approval of Congress. Either that or I'll shorten Congress and give out the cabinet positions.

A senate can connect us with other streams, while shortening Congress means more experienced people will end up in Congress.

1. I think a currency system would be great. It will take some time to create a full system but in the meantime we got Scar's banknotes he made. Plus we can make new users feel involved in the RP by paying them with those banknotes

2. Strengths: Self-reliance. Determination. Cautious but not too cautious, like being aware of the situation. Being active. Enforcing ToS. Weaknesses: Finding candidates (will be more easy in the future).

3. We will change the registration just to make it more efficient.

4. The current court is fine but if the owner of the stream were to be judge that would make it fair since anyone can just hire a judge.

5. Stances: Pro-war or Anti-war

6. I approach alliances by sharing what our streams have in common, what both our goals are. What we like and dislike. Then I ask for an alliance or a mutual understanding. Diplomacy and having alliances is great since it keeps you and your people safe. And the same can be said for other streams.

7. I think it's just people going to war over opinions. If we do get elected we'll maintain the neutral anime stance in IP.

1: Since time eternal the only real meme currency has been clicks and upvotes. Making our own money is a waste of time because it's not backed by anything. But buying and selling stuff for upvotes? Worth a shot.
2: PEPE party is by a long shot the most memetastic party. They have dozens of new custom memes almost every day. Most parties on here think changing three words on a announcement template is an original meme. PEPE doesn't have that problem.
Pepe's biggest weakness is a weakness for many third parties. 3rd parties are drawing dead unless they join forces. PEPE currently polls a distant 3rd. I political RP, 3rd place is worth Jack and spit. And Jack left town.
3: We need the voter ID rules written down. Written down where people can find them. I had friends from ms memers come on here and ask how to register to vote and get three different answers from three different people. We only wanna discourage people from other streams from mailing in alt votes like the imgflip military thugs did, we don't wanna discourage people on this stream from voting.
4: we currently have no courts. I tried repeatedly to appeal unconstitutional laws and ruling and kept getting the same: "we don't need no stinking courts" response from the powers that be. The courts are already in the constitution, we just need to enforce that rule. Pepe party will also be recognizing the owners as the supreme court to eliminate all the drama.
5: We need more clearly defined jobs for people. What exactly is the secretary of state's job? We don't have a literal state to run. I'll be making a list of tasks for all my appointments. It won't be mandatory, cause it's a meme website, but it's a good start.

6: no diplomacy or or alliances. With the exception of maintaining our existing alliances with the crusaders, the 141 and the AAA penguins incase we need firepower to defend the stream from imgflip military hackers or something. We have several problems to fix on the stream and don't need other stream's drama.
7: anime vs anti-anime is total bullcrap. I've been in a lot of anime vs anti-anime wars and it's usually just trolls using the "anti-anime" montra to spam boring reposts. The anime army loves pokemon and the anti-anime army loves pokemon and pokemon is anime. You don't ask people if they're marvel or DC do you?
As to fascist thugs using 'anti anime' as an excuse to harass people that disagrees with their politics? That has no place on this stream.

I'm open to the idea of it, but right now it's not my top priority. Former Presidents already receive their own custom bank notes, but I think actually creating a currency might be a little to ambitious and I don't see what use it would have.

The Right Unity Party is the most democratic because we were the first to hold primaries, and we are also made up of multiple factions. In addition, it was under the RUP that the stream rebounded from the chaos caused by the beez presidency and WN's reign of terror. Our weakness, however, may be that

I'm satisfied with our current levels of voter registration. It ensures voters have at least some connection to the stream without going too overboard. I believe we have a good compromise already, especially since there are people arguing to both tighten and lessen voter ID rules.

The system works fine, especially after the impeachment amendment was passed to ensure things run more smoothly and democratically.

I like the idea of making , but I'm sceptical about the idea of a Senate with foreign steam representatives since Congress voted against it so strongly, so it's clear the people don't want it at this time. I'm also not sure ranked choice is a great idea because although it may work well in theory, it's harder to implement in practice and the people also voted against it.

I prefer to remain neutral as often as possible so we don't get caught up in messy affairs we shouldn't be involved in. But if we're ever attacked then I won't hesitate to protect this stream.

The RUP has decided to reform their alliance with the AAA, but this time we will not be so easily dragged into their conflicts. I am also opposed to banning all anime. It's only NSFW anime that I believe should be restricted. I think this is a good way to reach out to both sides, and I will continue these policies in future.

I have a lot of respect for BeHapp. He's a nice guy and we agree on many things. Luigi is also pretty cool, and he's been a great Congressman and Cabinet Secretary. I like how Randomness is pursuing more pro-free speech policies, and although I don't agree with him much I do respect him for that.

Good men, Good policies, and Strong In terms of military stances. I don't see a flaw in RUP, but Surly and the pepe opps keep bitching about IG and calling him whitenat even though IG joined the site in '17.

A currency system would be cool, but I think that every person on Imgflip presidents who follows the stream should get a weekly salary of some kind to keep it fair.

My party’s biggest strengths:
Not totally attacking other parties just because we disagree. In fact, I like all the other parties (even Pepe, somewhat)
Standing up for freedom farther than any other party will go. We have rejected the anti freedom ideology and have fought hard for freedom on all fronts.
Being very active. Our party is very active and would be if elected.

My party’s biggest weaknesses:
Not much of a set ideology until recently. We’ve been switching around for a while.
Most of our policies wouldn’t change much but instead would just be aesthetic changes.

I think we shouldn’t change the voter Id law but we shouldn’t add more onto it. I think that that would limit voter turnout and also just de-fun the stream, whereas our current law prevents inactive voters from participating.

I don’t really have an opinion on the current court. However, one thing I will say is that we shouldn’t give it more power or anything.

Head of newspaper. This way we can give the non politicians power! They choose how to run the press that reports in Imgflip presidents, and I think it would be an overall fun role.

Alliances are epic. Kaiju has been involved in some before. I think that globalism and Democratic alliances and fun and epic.

Anime. It is an art form, and whether or not you like anime, it is expansive and vast. It is not p*rn automatically and it is not harassment automatically.

Make no mistake: a true “currency system” would be a ton of work and organization to manage but there’s been enough interest in it that it’s worth trying. Luigi_Official volunteered to be Head Banker.

It would be cool, if this idea takes off, if we could get the site mods interested in establishing a formal Imgflip currency system that would manage itself automatically and be for everyone to use — this would help further encourage positive memer interaction and trading of ideas, kind of like Memechat, one of the coolest new features of the past year. N.E.R.D. Party

Strengths: Ideologically flexible, tolerant, open to all, focused on fun.
Weaknesses: New, just getting off the ground, competing with more established parties, untested in an election as of yet.

I was initially strongly opposed to voter ID. I thought it would cut PRESIDENTS off from the wider Imgflip community and make this stream more insular.

To an extent it has, but that hasn’t been a bad thing necessarily. The elections of Beez and MAGA had high turnout but resulted in Presidencies that were chaotic and short-lived, since they didn’t represent the streamers who were actually here. Wubbzy’s election had lower turnout but the stream’s felt more stable under him.

I would have to study it more, but I feel like what we have now in terms of voter ID is about right.

Court? No strong opinions. I’m actually a little unclear how court is supposed to work vs. impeachment. Perhaps the idea of trials isn’t really a great one. They’re tough to organize and they keep everyone dwelling on past drama. On most streams, now that stream mods have a ban feature, it’s a simple comment timer and then the person comes back after a few hours having hopefully learned their lesson. Perhaps we should let the elected government just do that and hold trials in reserve for when there’s a bad enough violation to consider permabanning someone.

Positions:

Central banker and possibly a few assistants would be must-have positions to manage any true currency system.

Other than that, I believe Parties generally have the right to appoint their own positions and distribute their own jobs, apart from the three elected ones (Prez/VP/HOC). Example: I’ve been made “campaign manager” for RUP, lol.

Diplomacy:

How would I tackle the AFK congress?
First of all, I'd aim to keep the members of congress intrested, and constantly involved. That way, I would cut down AFK levels quite a bit. I'd also try and appoint people to congress who I know will be active.

What legislation would I like to introduce to congress?
I would like to introduce the idea of currency. It seems like a wonderful prospect and would definetely enhance the roleplay, at least, in my personal opinion.

If elected, how will I work with the president?
Well, as rivalries go, I try to not make bitter enemies of other parties. If a president and Vice-presidential candidate not from my party were elected, I would almost certainly try my best to co-operate, and become friendly with my new office-mates.

How would I approach alliances and diplomacy?
I don't actually see a need for alliances, and am generally not very pro-alliance, as I see how quickly things can go sour (the alliance with the AAA, for instance). However, diplomacy is another matter entirely, and I see a way foward with not extending alliances, but extending friendship with other streams, for the future of I_P

Personally, I enjoy watching anime, and dislike the tactics of the AAA. Its fine if you don't like anime. If I get elected to office, I'll ensure that anime is okay to post, and not marked NSFW (Unless it is NSFW, in which case, it doesn't belong on the stream).
