When did Rush Limbaugh physically resist arrest?
2 ups, 3y
Unfortunately he never ran into Floyd with his 4x4.

That's a joke, mods. Violence is bad and never called for.

Sorry, I'll spell it out: Rush Limbaugh never HAD to, because as a wealthy white man he could keep abusing drugs without living in a heavily-policed neighborhood. How your drug use affects your life depends heavily on whether you belong to a group that is over-policed (people of color, people in the inner cities) or under policed (white suburbanites or rural dwellers). There are addicts of all colors, but the system of policing punishes some groups much more than others.

No, actually, Rush Limbaugh was arrested for abusing drugs, and he was punished.

You see, what you're doing is trying to decrease guilt based upon skin color (George Floyd). You don't provide any verifiable claims, and you also ignore what is blatantly obvious: that George Floyd was violent towards police at his arrest. No one forced him to choose his actions that day.

You're also ignoring the other reality, which is that police weren't called on George Floyd because he was doing drugs, but because he tried to steal something using counterfeit money. Not only that, but the people who called the cops were *minorities* as well. This wasn't a case of an inner city being "over-policed", but about a minority-run business getting police help when it needed it.

Yeah, he made himself a career where he didn't have to pass counterfeit money to buy drugs. Did Fentanyl Floyd even work?

Anyway, your defense of a career criminal junkie is pretty pathetic, all these excuses. Sure, policing is why a group that comprises a mere 13%, commits half of all murders. Sure
. It's only because of overpolicing!!! Perhaps tell that community not to be involved in criminal activity at a higher rate than the over 60% community, then there wouldn't be the need for so much policing. But no, you'll just excuse everything while crying about whitey.

Mmmmmmkay...
Pretty sad when you defend some repeat offender, career criminal street thug with a rap sheet as long as your arm. It was passing counterfeit bills, followed up with suicide by Fentanyl.

I'm not defending him, merely contextualizing the violence that some commenters seem to feel was justified against him.

To be clear: I don't think that ANY drug addicts should be murdered on the streets by cops (in front of children, to make the thing worse); I want you all to understand that if police applied the same standards to all demographics, that COULD have happened to Rush Limbaugh as easily as it did to George Floyd.

Rush didn't resist arrest after passing counterfeit bills.

Amazing that men that have gone through rehab and cleaned up are never forgiven by the left.

Yet they will defend to the death a Hollywood celeb that relapses over and over, or a thug that resists arrest and dies of a drug overdose.

Rush didn’t resist arrest. Rush also went into rehab and overcame his addiction. Whereas Floyd on the other hand already had over the lethal dose of Fentanyl in his system, resisted arrest, and had an existing rap sheet, plus he was passing counterfeit dollar bills as well.

Don’t get me started on how Rush was a horrible person and was protected by white privilege, and Floyd wasn’t.

Don't forget one of them held a gun to a pregnant woman's stomach and threatened to pull the trigger.
