I don’t think this government or PRESIDENTS streamers in general mind seeing some off-topic silliness here every now and then. Relatedly, RUP mods also approved like two or three dozen memes kjoshua made in one night about running to be a dictator.

My issue with codifying spam protection is this: what if someone wants to spam the same exact image or gif 20 times? What if someone with a Memecat obsession decides to carpet-bomb every comments section? Or upvote-beg here for a solid month? At a certain point it gets waaaay too off-topic.

Gotta draw the line somewhere. Best reserved for mod discretion IMO.
