Okay so there are some available, a little over a hundred across the US listed on that website. Combine that with all the other listings on other websites, and maybe you’ll have a few thousand listings. How exactly is everyone supposed to be able to get an electric car again? electricity is only $0.50 for the same miles.

Every developed country in the world has at least some level of mass transit regardless of their economic system.

Yes, but they have to be able to have the money to be able to get one first. A lot of people buy junker cars off sites like Craigslist or from the local classifieds since they don’t have the cash on hand or good enough credit to get something nicer. I’d certainly be willing to bet electric cars will be even cheaper in 10 years time than they are now, and this debate would be moot at that point, but we still have a ways to go before reaching that point.

Either that or start providing better mass transit across the country thus rendering this debate pointless.
