Beware...Double Taxation!

It's what out leftists wanted for themselves and for this nation since they were bitterly unhappy with Trump's ability to generate financial success for pretty much everyone who wanted to work for a living. For some reason leftists WANT to be taxed up one side and then down the other WHILE watching a once great economy become stagnant and moribund.

I couldn't agree more.

You'd get an upvote for the casual and correct usage of the word 'moribund'... but you also have a point from what I can see. Though, to be honest, I don't think those people frothing at the mouth about Trump really know what they want... or are aware of what they're getting.

Unfortunately, we are in agreement.

In order to keep the price of gas up , decades ago Politicians came up with the tax tax . Since the Federal Government doubles the price of a gallon gas automatically , half of any tax that is added State and City Governments is tax on tax .

I know it's like they're running a racket.

Why the Government doesn't want us to have efficient electric cars , they make more money on gas than the Gas companies do .

I know the government makes more money on gas than the gas companies do.

But the more electric cars there are the higher the power demand, driving up the cost of electricity. Not to mention the present power grid is not equipped to handle the the extra demand.

I said "efficient" electric cars

But aren't electric cars becoming more efficient with each new series?

Over 20 years ago the World's Automakers were testing efficient , long range electric cars . After a big payoff from Big Oil they scrapped the project and covered up any evidence of it's existence . Try to find a video called "Who killed the Electric Car ?"

Why would that not surprise me...I've heard of other products in the same situation, where big corporations make big payoffs to bury products that compete with them.
