Exactly. I was once asked on another site to be moderator for the 'free for all politics' part of the website. I refused because I knew I'd be too biased on what was and wasn't permissible for a post.

Then report them. Personal death threats aren't permitted PERIOD.

Small discrepancy, just parsing the words here, I'm sure that I'll get reported for it, but hoping that someone gets murdered is not a personal death threat.

A personal death threat is "I'm going to kill you" - not "I hope you die".
