Unless youre refering to a tramp stamp to which women didn't start getting those till the 90's and you are much younger which is where the confusion may come from.

I was a child of the 80s... and what I had said was a joke. Sarcasm is tough to convey via text.

Being that I was born in '70, not too many women my age had that scar, but the older women had them, hence the mark of a cougar as we used to call it.

To be completely honest... I'd never heard of a smallpox vax scar as being called a cougar mark or mark of the cougar or what have you. A smallpox vax scar was always just a smallpox vax scar where I came from.

Difference in the communities we grew up in... difference in terminology, I suppose.
