Seriously xD in our neck of the woods, pine trees were so thick we didn't have under brush. It was just a bed of dead pine needles and pine trees. And pinecones, lots of pinecones.

It rained here in MT a few days ago and I saw the sky for the first time in three weeks.

One beautiful day...then back to more choking smog because of fires. Now the Lord sent another rain and we're breathing clean air again...but yeah, no fun.

He had some very good things to say. The problem is that when you burn and loot and hurt people who never wronged you it makes others hesitant to help you. If I were a politician why would I take you seriously if your mind is already made up that nothing will change? If you just looted and burned a convenience store you belong in jail and your argument just lost any validity that it might have had because you’re a criminal. There are better ways of getting results than hurting people who never wronged you.

Except we've learned that it's questionable as to how much of the rioting is actually caused by/attributed to BLM/ANTIFA as LEAs have discovered that some of those incidents were started by false flag operatives...

A fair enough question. First of all, no one actually *likes* riots unless they’re ANTIFA or whatnot.

The issue is we have to understand where these spontaneous outbursts of violence come from, and how to end them.

In this case, the immediate cause of this destruction was obvious: a gruesome police murder in broad daylight captured on camera and seen around the world. This experience of mistreatment at the hands of police resonated with many black Americans who have been treated, if not quite this poorly (as after all, they are still living), then still pretty badly.

The even more fundamental cause is the centuries of racist mistreatment, segregation, and ghettoization that leaves many black Americans feeling like America’s promise isn’t and has never been for them.

MLK had even better words on this subject; I’ll post them.

Erm, no. ANTIFA doesn't "like" riots...

I understand the anger that drives people to do these things. I just don’t understand why some…not all, but some…want to hold people who have never done them wrong accountable.
