There several words that leftists are trained to use to try and disrupt and distract. They like strawman a lot. Also see gaslighting, whataboutism, blah blah blah. All psychobabble spouted from their red college debate class professors.
Those are all examples of logical fallacies... which are often incorrectly used by people who are loosing an argument. Acquaint yourself with a few and try them out the next time you see someone passing a logical fallacy off as an argument and watch as they seethe... it's hilarious!
