More tarnished and disproven lies; the common cold and flu went down with masking, hand-sanitizing and self-isolation, no matter what you think. COVID is NOT the Flu, no matter what you think. A one percent mortality rate is an actual crisis situation, no matter what you think. COVID is more virulent than the flu, no matter what you think. Right now you have thirty-five million people infected, and six hundred and thirteen thousand dead - and the infection rates and death tolls are only going to go up as the virus has the ability to mutate opportunistically; meaning the Delta Variant, currently more transmissible than Chicken Pox, is going to utterly RAVAGE the American population specifically, because of your Covid-truthing, anti-masking, anti-vaxxing own-the-libs mentality.
Think about this: if things continue as they are currently in the United States, if people continue to go unmasked, unvaccinated, or refuse to isolate when exposed or infected, that death toll will only climb. As the virus continues to mutate, you won't even get to an Epsilon variant before every single American knows at least one person who's died of COVID, and knows at least ten who have COVID.
Countries where mask mandates and vaccination regimes are in place have seen a marked decrease in the number of infections and deaths from COVID. Even a single dose is better than not getting vaccinated.
Who do you want to get your health care advice from? A bunch of celebrity infotainers on echo-chamber shows that reflect your own opinions back at you, or from medical scientists who have literally devoted their lives to learn how to care for and treat Humans? Do you wanna trust a guy who shills pillows for a living, or a doctor whose been in the medical field for decades?
When your car breaks down you don't ask your corner store clerk to fix it, you take it to a mechanic. And if you have the skills of a mechanic, chances are your car won't break down, will it?
So why in the world do you insist that the people who are literally paid professional human mechanics are untrustworthy?
Do you honestly think that doctors and nurses are that corrupt?
If so, you might want to consider socialized medicine, like the REST of the Western World has, where the only financial incentive doctors and nurses have is making sure the most people possible can live.
