Why would we on the Right hate him? Clearly he is referring to the murder of unborn children, abortion. And his angry look is no doubt based on the Left's love of murdering those unborn children.

Saying that abortion is not murder is like the thief, when the police catch him, saying that stealing isn't really theft, just 'wealth redistribution'. Your transient morality is evil.

"Whether you realize it or not, that mindset . . . "

Are you really this ignorant? While that is a rhetorical question for me, I wonder if you realize how ignorant you must be to assume you remotely understand my "mindset".

The Word of God is much more full than you realize, and there are parameters as to how just killing is handled. I see no point in trying to get you to understand it- it is beyond your understanding. And that not because you lack the necessary reading comprehension, or even that you lack sufficient intelligence, but rather that you lack a true interest in understanding.

You are happy in your ignorance, and I understand generally why that is, having been in the same place at one time in my life.

You also lack a significant amount of knowledge when it comes to the major benefits that a relationship with God results in. He calls us "friend", and is a Father to us, expressing love beyond measure. I wonder why you libs can only come up with bits and pieces taken out of context that you think show God to be some malevolent sky-meany. Even though you assume you know what the Bible contains, you could at least pretend to know what accurate teaching about it looks like.

What kind of love does gOD show when we live in a world of suffering, and if you refuse to worship this invisible being, hE sends you to hell? Inserting himself into all of your experiences to examine compliance. gOD is the worst tyrant imaginable.
1 up, 3y,

The suffering in the world is the result of sin- your sin and my sin, and that of every human being.

God desires those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. The only way that you can be anything other than a mindless robot is if you have something to choose between. Most, like yourself, choose the way of evil. Since God is not evil, it is no surprise then that you do not comprehend why there is suffering, and why God will rightly judge those who reject Him.

It is His universe, and there is no other. And God loves you enough that He paid the price for your punishment in Hell, and offers it to you as a free gift. I do not find my worship of God to be some terrible thing- He is worthy of more worship than I can muster.

The very fact that you can call God the "worst tyrant imaginable" is proof of His love- you will not be forced to spend eternity in His presence. Admittedly, the alternative sucks, more so than you can wrap your mind around, but it is your choice.

God is Who He is- you do not have to like it. I find great joy in it.

I have stopped reading your nonsense, as it is uninformed, unintelligent, and evil. I can handle the 'evil' part, because I am human too.

But I did read far enough for this nonsense- where do you find in the Bible that it says God creates evil? God creates people who in turn do evil, but this is not the same as creating evil. God created angels, some of who rebelled and chose evil, but God did not create evil. God gave us free will to make our choices- not the same thing. That would be like a parent giving their newly licensed 16 year old the keys to the family car, and then the 16 year old has an accident. The parents did not cause the accident.

When you want to truly understand this, let me know. You have made up your mind a priori to the information I provide, and you reason in circles. You have lost the argument before you got started because God is. You do not have to like this, but it is true nonetheless. And God has revealed Himself in certain ways and at certain times, and validated that through various signs and miracles.

Ok- I lost my "bet" with myself and read the rest.

"A god who acts like the God of the Bible doesn't deserve any worship."

1. You really do not know what is in the Bible, apart from taking texts out of context.
2. You do not get to decide that for anyone but yourself, and even that only for the time being, as one day "every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of the Father."

When all stand before the Judge, everyone will know in that moment that He is perfectly loving and perfectly just- no one will disagree with the verdict. So you may ask, 'then why doesn't He just show Himself so we all get it right?' God does not desire forced love, for that is not true love at all. You get to make a choice freely, and in light of what He has revealed, both through general revelation and specific revelation. Based solely on what we see in creation, we are all without excuse. So says God. (Romans 1)

As for forcing people to go to Hell- wrong. You are choosing that path for yourself. You rail against God, Who you assert does not exist, but you make such an assertion against all of the evidence all around us. Science has long since caught up enough with reality that even a simple understanding of the basics shows that evolution is a fairy tale for adults. Regardless of how much time, "chance" is not a tangible thing that can create anything.

Your attitude is petty and small minded.

Of course they have. Abortion has taken the lives of over 1,000,000 babies on average.

And, my racist liberal friend, racist because you defend and support this genocide, major cities are seeing almost as many black babies murdered as are being born.

"How are we racist for letting black women make decisions for themselves? lmao"

Well, most black people that are murdered are killed by other black people, so yay freedom!

Murder is murder- civil societies traditionally make that illegal.

"Abortion is not murder because abortion is legal and murdered by definition is illegal."

Because evil, corrupt people enact evil, corrupt laws, that does not make something lawful. If we follow your logic, then holding slaves is not slavery, but rather just good business, for at one time even the highest court of the land held that slavery was "legal".

That you cannot see this simple, basic fact is not proof that abortion is not murder, but rather that you are corrupt yourself.

"Yes it does. By definition, if something is legal then it is lawful. That doesn't necessarily mean it is good or moral, but it is lawful."

You fail to understand that it is only lawful if God calls it lawful. I get your more simplistic definition, but you fail to see the big picture.

"You're confusing immoral with illegal."
You're confusing the laws of men as being of any true importance. When they conflict with the laws of God, they are anything but that. Your priorities are 180 degrees wrong.

"And yet you worship a God who kills babies by the millions"

God does not murder, but yes, people die as a result of sin being judged. Yet no one need suffer the real death, the "second death", which is being judged and cast into the eternal Lake of Fire. You petty attitude does not render God as unreal, and you are hardly in the position to judge the actions of God.

"and commanding the death penalty for blasphemy and working on the Sabbath"

The Laws that God set forth, FOR ISRAEL, where they clearly are specifically for Israel, did not carry over into the Church Age. The moral code was brought forward, though with one exception, that being the requirement for the Sabbath. How ignorant your petty anger makes you, to be so clueless. But let me clue you in on this, the 'death penalty' still exists for blasphemy, which takes place after your physical death, then judgment, then what the Bible calls the "second death", when those who have rejected Christ as Savior are cast into Hell.

"I am absolutely allowed to judge the actions of your God or any other god. I have every right to judge and criticize what you say he does. And if I'm not allowed to judge or criticize what he does, then that makes him a tyrant and a dictator who deserves absolutely no respect whatsoever.
If you believe that you're not even allowed to judge him, then you're basically saying that you're forced onto your knees in front of a tyrant who must be obeyed without question"

Now that is some Grade A, Prime Choice blasphemy! Congratulations!

You may judge and criticize all you want- utterly meaningless. What exactly do you think your judgment of God does to Him? This God, Who spoke the universe into existence, does in fact literally laugh at you:

Psalm 2:1-4
Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the Earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us burst Their bonds apart and cast away Their cords from us.”

He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision.

****

God does not mind legitimate questions, but judgment of THE Judge? You fail to see because if you did, you would have to forsake the sin you love more than you love God.

I do not understand why God has done all that He has done, though I have my suspicions based on years of study of His Word. At the very least, He does what He desires to do, and there is none to stop Him. Fortunately for many of us, we find that He is a loving God, and not an evil one. He offers you the same salvation He offered me. Reject it all you want, but I also laugh at your arrogant attitude. You are far more simple than I originally gave you credit for.

You are not allowed to judge Him- you have no power. And while you call Him tyrant in this life, one day your mouth will be silent, and you will know that your punishment is 100% just.

Oh, and you too shall bow before Him, in a sense forced by the power of His presence.

Philippians 2:9-11
Therefore God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the Name that is above every name, so that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, in Heaven and on Earth and under the Earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

I hardly know where to begin, you spew so much nonsense that it is beyond comprehension. Almost. I am human as well, and I once thought as you do.

You are NEVER going to understand God to the degree that He has revealed Himself to us so long as you believe YOU get to determine the 'rules of engagement'.

"Why are you okay with God killing babies if you say killing babies is wrong?"

Who said I was "ok" with it? I accept that God, Who is perfectly just and perfectly loving and perfectly omniscient, knows what He is doing. The death of any of us, and we all die at some point, is the direct result of sin- violating God's commands. You may whine (and man, do you ever do a lot of it) that it is not fair that God cursed all of mankind because of one man's sin, but you have had the same chance Adam did, and yet you choose to sin anyway. I do not care that you do not believe in God, apart from where that leads for you in the end.

Babies may die in this life, but they, like all of us, live on in the afterlife. Many Bible scholars affirm that all babies go to Heaven, given that they never had a real chance to sin. I affirm that they are in God's hands, and for the sake of not wasting my time with you, I will not explain my viewpoint as to what that may mean. Suffice it to say that God, Who is love, takes care of them appropriately.

"Religious laws or laws from a holy book are not what run this country."
That does not make it right. The nation whose God is the Lord, is blessed by Him. Given the nature of much of this country's founding, there is good reason to believe that this is why this country had grown to be so prosperous. One thing is certain- to the degree that we depart from the basic laws of God (you shall not murder, you shall not steal, etc), we do a great job of creating hell on Earth.

"And keep in mind that there are many laws in the Bible which are savage and barbaric, like allowing for slavery, and commanding the death penalty for blasphemy and working on the Sabbath."
You know not of what you refer to. The issue of slavery is much different in the Bible when it comes to God's commands surrounding it vs the type of slavery that took place in the US, and still exists in the world.
As to being "savage and barbaric", only a godless dunce could arrive at this conclusion. You do not have to understand why, though with study much of this becomes apparent- God typically explains why- in most cases, God was meting out justice to barbaric men.

You are hardly in the position to assume you can judge actions on the behalf of God.

Not sure how many infants have commited sins so grave that such warranted their slaughter en masse, but while on that topic, what HASN'T this God smoted anybody lately? You ever wonder why Moslems outside of the Middle East and Central Asia that they invaded/colonized/converted by force are found in trade routes and ports from Africa to Asia?

No?

According to Islam, anyone who isn't is fair game. Rape, murder, oh, and slavery - fair game.

So when some Arab traders were having their boats loaded with goods from the coast of, say, Nigeria, they walloped a couple of locals upside the head as they carried stuff down below when no one else was around and wrap them to go with the rest of the cargo.

But they can't do that to Moslems, and eventually people around started getting wind of this, so they converted so they won't get kidnapped.

The Mongols had the largest land based empire in history, and today 1/16 of men throughout the world have Y chromosome markers distinctive of Genghis Khan & Sons in them from all the 'concubines' (AKA sex slaves) they had, some siring hundreds of children each.

Empires of the indigenous on all continents radiate outwards, and continue to do so till they stretch themselves too thin and then get conquered by the next power to take the crown. Those too weak to do so get eaten for dinner.

People everywhere invaded and colonized. It's not like they bought territory from real estate agents. To think what Europeans did only in the last five centuries was not done by anyone prior is racist. Racist against ALL people. As if they lacked the ability to do so as well.

Oh, then there was that Out of Africa bit, which not just spread humans everywhere except Antartica and some islands, but massacred and raped Neanderthals and Denisovans out of existence.

Stop playing victim and have some pride.

1 up, 3y
Yes, you got it.
And crime blew up dramatically since prisoners were released in droves in 2020 so they can spread Covid to the general public instead of while raping each other because law abiding citizens should stay home during lockdown but felons should get some fresh air and make up for lost time and attack everyone because it was mean for them to get locked up for committing crimes by 'the man'
1 up, 3y
If you continue sticking to your simplistic, paper-thin view of the world, the U.S. will continue to be the leader in mass incarceration. You clearly do not know reality.

The average prisoner in the U.S. makes 40 cents an hour, and canteen prices are even more expensive than products on the outside. A prisoner can work two weeks only to afford two bottles of shampoo. Only a cruel individual should think someone should suffer because of their wrongdoing(s), or that suffering should make them become productive or hopeful at all upon their release and reintegration into society.

Government literally created slums and ghettos. Police regularly patrol low-income and majority-racial minority communities, and enforce "broken-windows policing", which results in escalating encounters to arrest, brutalization, and killing. We know the police are a racist institution, and that the justice system regularly delivers harsher sentences to black and other racial minorities than to their white counterparts.

We also know that poverty produces crime, and that capitalist property relations leave a majority class of people dispossessed and obligated to work to survive. Many are thrown out of work, have their wages cut, and/or cannot find employment. This leads people to commit "criminal" acts out of desperation. Sometimes stealing just to eat.

We ignore our problems of mental health and poverty and racism and more, and want to blame offenders for their own position. We are not safer for what we do to offenders. We are not preventing crime at all, again, we are producing it, and taking resources away from communities and building up and militarizing the police against us.
