So you just ignore the vaccinated people who are getting the virus and even dying from it?

Typical.

How many vaccinated people have died from the virus?

At the moment, it's in the hundreds. When all is said and done, it'll be in the thousands. My comment was sarcasm, based on the fact the OP mocks those who won't take an experimental drug (which is their right to do so) by stating some jerkoff Republican blames the unvaxxed for a tiny surge in Covid cases, while he ignores the vaxxed still dying from it. We were told by the OP and every other Democrat that the vaccines were supposed to make Covid symptoms far less harmful and that vaxxed people wouldn't spread it. But it looks like you people are wrong again.

Much smaller than the previous surges. It's going to happen for a while, but they aren't as big as the previous. Not in the US anyway.

Could you link to the exact or estimated numbers? I'd like to know if it's 200 or 900.

Also, can they tell between who has died from COVID despite the vaccine and who has died from the vaccine?

The last number I saw was 700+.

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/06/25/covid-breakthrough-cases-cdc-says-more-than-4100-people-have-been-hospitalized-or-died-after-vaccination.html

Good info. Thanks.

So, thousands will have died out of the 200+million that will be vaccinated? As opposed to the potential millions who could have died if we never vaccinated. I'll take those odds.

Hot Tip: vaccinations are never proven to be 100% effective. Sometimes the virus wins.

Unfortunately, we don't know the long term effects of the vaccine as it's still in the experamental stage. Yes, vaccines have long term side effects.

You don't say? How many vaccines, drugs, etc don't have side effects?

Hmmm..

I mean the odds of side effects are markedly lower risk than the long term side effects caused by damage suffered from COVID.

You're talking to someone who got the vaccine, so save your outrage.

Also whether or not you are vaccinated is irrelevant to the topic at hand. Try to stay focused. Since we are on topic, I got my vaccine back in May. Still no side effects.

It doesn't negate the fact we don't know what could happen.

And since we're in agreement, no need to keep going back and forth.

Agreed, equally we don't know if anything will happen at all. Though, given that vaccines follow a proven theory, their execution largely remains the same as any other vaccine. The odds of side effects cropping up later are nil.

Heard 95% of new cases are from the unvaccinated (not sure what the % of deaths are), so that would be 5% of new cases are from the vaccinated.
A significantly small minority, yes, but nevertheless not one to be ignored.

Then there are those suffering side affects from recieving a vaccine. Again, small, but still a number, with the long term an unknown.

Not saying that means people should abstain, given what that outcome would be, but still numbers to be considered.

Way to ignore the real point and bring a meaningless point to try and derail. The people that got vaccinated at least tried. But I shouldn’t be surprised, the most common argument against trying anything that would actually from conservatives is it’s too hard, so don’t try.

Not that it's any of your business, but for the sake of this argument/debate, I got vaxxed because my wife is one of the highly susceptible to the virus. But mocking those who choose not to get vaxxed is bullshit and only further divides our country. The Democrats aren't helping anything either as they are the biggest dividers next to the media, who are in the Democrat's pockets.

Well, I'm not a Democrat, but I do believe the country should be divided. As should China and Russia.

Why do you think our country should be divided? That's a pretty insane view. You think we should be fighting each other?

I do think conservatives, centrists, and liberals should be fighting trumpist fascism, yes. By force of arms if necessary.

Aside from that, I think a country the size of the United States (or China) is too big to be governed by one head of state. Presidents get 6 hours of sleep or less a night, and that impairs judgement. They age at twice the rate as other people, and I believe that's physical proof the situation isn't healthy for the President or the nation.
