You think he got cancelled? He was sitting on the bench prior to being released. He's been offered jobs but he has declined to consider them because they would use him from the bench...where he was when he was let go. No one would hire him or almost any other quarterback with an outright guarantee they would be a starter. He played it right. He got into the news and became a martyr instead of a has-been sitting on the bench.
