I think I was 14 when I started noticing the similarity of those movies (books, radio plays, etc.) to western history. What a bizarre projection of white guilt.

Througout history there have been two types of humans:

Aggressive invaders
&
Those who have been wiped out

In fact, same applies to all creatures, down to the most seemingly benign of plants.
Witness the Three Sisters in traditional farming - beans, corn, squash. Squash not only produces food but also helps suppress weeds by shading them out as well as by being allelopathic, that is, it produces toxins that hinders the growth of or even kills other plants.

So do sunflowers, even the shells of their seeds are allelopathic enough to make the area under bird feeders rather devoid of other plants.

More telling in Sci Fi are 'superior' humanoid aliens or humans from the future.
Look at the Wrath of Khan. Do those people lead by a Sikh look to be of the various races as they did in tv's Space Seed where they were introduced? Even Montalban got lighter.
Then go to Star Trek: Into Darkness, where the closet Cumberbatch's Khan looks like he got to Indi is the curry shop he'd get take out from on Thursdays. Although at least they stopped short of giving him blond hair.

Not invaders or terrorizers (who are usually portrayed as darker) but the very pinnacle of evolution not just on Earth but throughout the universe.

Let that sink in.

Let it sink in that the dominant gene when it comes to skin pigmentation is darker, same for eyes and hair.

This is also a science fiction.

They also chose the "dominant" variant to be white...

Almost as if they didn't want to be replaced or made irrelevant...

... Almost.

"Let it sink in that the dominant gene when it comes to skin pigmentation is darker, same for eyes and hair."

Let it sink indeed.

Which is why said "dominant gene" isn't quite so dominant in the indigenous populations of more northern and southern latitudes, and pretty much most of Eurasia and the Americas, save for Dravidians and Melanesians?
Not to mention said dominant gene gets diluted in one single generation of race mixing, and tone varies depending on the proportions of mixture in subsequent generations, which would not be the case with the mixing of true dominant and recessive genes.

What you're claiming IS science fiction.

I already provided the ONLY examples you cited of pale-faced Europeans from Mars invading the rest of Planet Earth that is not Mars, but try and put a little elbow grease into it, k?

No, of course you haven't.

I seem to remember their outfits being pretty pale when Will Smith punched it in the face. "Welcome to Earth." Which, if you take the parallel I mention: Underneath, we're all the same. There is no "Pale face."

That's because they were supposed to look like a bony casing.
And yes, like most invading aliens, grey is about as pale as they get, unless you're referring to the paler parts of Predator's face, the rest which is of different and darker hues.

And? The whole point of this interpretation is that we found their just like us, tolerance to heat cold, breathes oxygen. Underneath their pale Visage, they were just like us. Just like euro colonials were biologically the same as the native they sought to colonize.

Genetically different by way of their genes in pigmentation, but both human :)

No, kid, that is not the "whole point of this interpretation," it's your sadly desperate attempt at pretending you can reinterpret facts which contradict your bogus point so they can fit it.

Which they don't/

Of course it is, but I'm not the one who writes the movies with Aliens having pale faces. They are also fictional characters so, it's not really worth mentioning. You're making mountains out of mole-hills. Kinda annoyed with that comment, really.

Characterizing people who don't believe or have the capacity for magic "muggles" is also racist. But we use the term anyway, because it's a work of fiction. Fiction lives don't matter in this context.

Good grief man, it was tongue in cheek. I know it's hard to pick up on sarcasm online, but I'd hoped people'd know by now that I'm more inclined to be bothered by bluenoses who make claims like I did, but in seriousness, than by the joke itself.

Tongue in cheek doesn't transfer well over the internet. Usually when one says something in jest they include an emoticon to communicate good intent. I apologize in my haste. Perhaps we can learn from this and move on to more effective communication:)

Was Alien 3 about recolonization or abduction?

You're unfamiliar with the franchise?

Alien 3 was about a face-hugger who had (if memory serves) attached itself to the cat and stayed aboard Ripley's ship. Hicks died in transport as well did Newt (I think.) The egg hatched and snuck aboard the prison ship where it went to go feed on all of the inmates. Ripley was not fed on this scene because it was found later that she had Alien DNA in her. (I forget how) It's been a few years. So, Alien 3 was about hunting. Not colonization or abduction. Though, I'd like to point to another pale-faced xeno who happened to be a proficient hunter who hunted lesser species for sport...
2 ups, 3y
Addendum: The Serpent Xenomorphs also did not attack our home for its land. They simply attacked us for us as a means of food source and reproduction. So the parallel doesn't even match as opposed to a movie like "Occupation" or "War of the Worlds."

Are you not familiar with the Predator franchise?

Where they sent their run-of-the-mill hunters to the proving grounds (earth) to hunt our best and only our very best survived, but barely?

Hmmm...

Let's conveniently forget Alien's Xenomorphs were engineered to eradicate humans on Earth.

I had mentioned Predator (who is a hunter, not an invading colonizer) to a certain someone yesterday, and as I said,

"Modda 0 ups, 23h

That's because they were supposed to look like a bony casing.
And yes, like most invading aliens, grey is about as pale as they get, unless you're referring to the paler parts of Predator's face, the rest which is of different and darker hues."

But feel free to post pics of, I dunno, Keanu to prove your case.
Oh, and Mars Attacks. There, you got that. Sorta.

The truth in Sci Fi is bit more insidious and less of the social commentary on Euro-only (because the rest of humanity all still lives in what used to be mangrove swamps in what is now the Red Sea) invasion and colonization you claim.

Instead of trying to prove what has proven to be a demonstrably weak point, perhaps reading a little (like that reply to the top comment) and learning from such might prove beneficial.

I could say the same to you: focus on my claim, not what you think it means. First, I spoke specifically on alien 3. You tried to hijack the conversation to the entire franchise. Since you set the precedent of the conversation to permit such hijacking, I mentioned the predator species.

Second, the main point, you assume my claim states that all colonization movies are a commentary on white colonialism. The title sets the context for the prompt within the meme as a currently as five discussion. I never said that these stories were written for the purpose of such commentary. I said "Have you considered this perspective you're witnessing?" This assumes you're in on that specific conversation

Meaning, there is a conversation about such interpretation. Clearly, you haven't heard of it as you're trying to unilaterally debunk it's existence. I assure you, this interpretation exists. This interpretation further does not change the commentary of the movies, but simply makes a unique observation that can be gleaned by looking at the trope as a whole.

Do keep defending claims that were never made, if such tropes and the parallels that people draw from them make you uncomfortable. That is completely your prerogative.

"WHAT IF I TOLD YOU; EVERY ALIEN INVASION MOVIE WAS ABOUT A SUPERIOR RACE OF PALE FACES COMING TO COLONIZE OUR HOME AND TAKE IT FROM US"

Not sure what your illustrious point is, but so far you haven't been able to back 'your' notion "EVERY ALIEN INVASION MOVIE WAS ABOUT A SUPERIOR RACE OF PALE FACES COMING TO COLONIZE OUR HOME AND TAKE IT FROM US"

- other than the crocodile (and land crab) based hues of Predator featuring some paler areas.

This is the problem when people borrow meme ideas from Facebook without paying attention to what they're posting nor considering the [in]validity of it.

Muh bad, I forgot to add an "lol" to my original comment so you can understand the serious gravity of its implications [that's called, "sacrcasm," btw]

How you chose to interpret and distort a simple quip is on you.

To avert further confusion, in the last two movies, Alien's Xenomorphs were revealed to be bioengineered bioweapons. They were actually used against actual human colonists in - wait for it - actual outer space, you know, where no one can hear you scream, as the advertising slogan went back in 79.

Try to keep up.

Ah, yes, but I was speaking simply on the image provided which cited a very specific movie. I didn't know you were citing the entire franchise. That said, the specific movie gave credence to my argument that the movies weren't about alien recolonization which my parallel suggests.

It's not so much about keeping up, it's more about you needing to be more specific with your posts. Clearly, you had just made a "quip" yet you're replying to me and filling my notification box on something I was speaking earnestly in. You're already proving the meme in which I said "Imagine if you will, an entire community so offended by the parallel European Colonialism to the universally recognized Trope of Pale Aliens invading our planet, they go through extreme lengths to find the exception to the aforementioned trope with as many examples as they can think of to change the narrative to suit their agenda"

Rather than consider the perspective, you'd rather debunk it entirely...

Dude, it's okay to feel uncomfortable.

tl;dr,

But I was skimming around looking for your reference to War of the Worlds and some obscure Aussie film no one has heard of here called, Occupation, the former featuring brown in the original film and vey dark slate/black aliens in the 2005 version.
Occupation's features grey ones.

Did you find any examples to illustrate your point, or is that scheduled for some big reveal in the future?
