A riot that broke a few windows? I can handle that.

A bunch of Democrat run cities being burned down and its citizens assaulted for well over a year now? Not so much.

This is all you Democrats have now.

$30 million in damages isn't just a few windows. Your team literally shit all over the capitol. You all take being sore losers to a whole new level.

Why don't you total up the total damage in just Portland alone by your thug buddies? Let me know what you come up with.

Here's a secret: I already know the total in damages.

But you go a head and continue acting like the Capitol breach was worse in some weird way.

Yep. I consider, as do tens of millions of others, the desecration of our major cities over the past year far worse.

I've got news for you ... It is.

Y’all act as if the riots precipitated out of the ether and weren’t actually caused by anything in particular.

Well, this police murder (and a jury has now determined that beyond a reasonable doubt) was the cause.

Fix the cause of the riots and they’ll go away. That’s what MLK said. And he was right.

After MLK himself was brutally assassinated? Riots.

After the Rodney King beatings? Riots.

After George Floyd? Riots.

These are indelible events in African-American history which remind many black Americans of the daily injustices and abuses they’ve endured as a result of living in a racist society.

Is it any wonder the powder keg blows sometimes?

It’s past time for solutions that fundamentally improve conditions for African-Americans, not burying the story and acting shocked next time it happens.

On the flip side, this whole rioting after an election thing is totally new in American history. Is Trump going to set a new norm in this regard? Will the losing side now riot in every election going forward or is it just a Republican thing?

We’ll have to see. If you have suggestions on how to stop these MAGA riots before they start, feel free to fire away.

To me it’s obvious the root cause is millions framing their entire worldview around the pronouncements of a pathological lying narcissist. The sort of thing only desperate people do. Perhaps MAGAworld too needs some help. In fairness, I wouldn’t deprive help from them, either, if it would solve the problems.

We need more solution-orientedness.

We all know why you make excuses for criminal behavior. You posting the image over and over doesn't change anything. And you really believe a bad cop killing someone is justification for a year-long riot where innocent citizens are being attacked and their businesses (which are mostly black owned) destroyed and their cities burned down?

You really are a piece of shit. I guess if it doesn't effect you, right?

MLK did not advocate destroying cities and killing and beating others to get your point across. And you completely ignore his point on judging someone by the content of their character not their skin color.

And you truly are an ignoramus if you think all these riots (which are still going on in many cities) and all this criminal activity is due to George Floyd being killed. But you have proven you aren't too bright.

Stealing from Walgreens isn't going to fix a "bad cop" problem.

It wasn’t a “year-long riot,” lol. It was on FOX News and Imgflip politics stream and wherever else you get your information but not in reality.

I live in one of those cities that supposedly “burned down.” It didn’t. We did have a nightly curfew for a few days, but because it overlapped with Covid restrictions it actually didn’t affect much. Right-wingers hopes that urban dwellers were going to defect en masse from the Democratic Party over all this were sorely misplaced.

MLK advocated solving the root causes of riots, point blank. He didn’t hang up his spurs and call it a day after the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (that bill white conservatives seem eager to treat as a “Mission Accomplished” moment). He continued his social justice advocacy right up until the moment his life was ended by the assassin’s bullet of a racist reactionary.

"It wasn’t a “year-long riot,” lol. It was on FOX News and Imgflip politics stream and wherever else you get your information but not in reality.

The riots have gone on, in many cases, for over a year. Rioting and overall thuggery and criminal behavior. And always making an excuse to commit their crimes.

"Right-wingers hopes that urban dwellers were going to defect en masse from the Democratic Party over all this were sorely misplaced."

Yeah, many have. You just fail to notice. But it doesn't matter, right? I mean, you people are getting a bunch of illegals (tens of millions) invading the country who'll most assuredly vote for those who broke the law to let them in.

"MLK advocated solving the root causes of riots, point blank. "

Solving problems doesn't mean going out and cause many other problems. You don't solve a problem by creating dozens of other problems.

"after the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (that bill white conservatives seem eager to treat as a “Mission Accomplished” moment)"

Do you even realize how racist you sound right now? You're ignoring the tens of thousands of black conservative and their opinions based on what exactly? Black conservatives had no problem with race relations, yet you don't include them for some reason, as if they don't exist. Pretty racist thinking there, buddy.

"He continued his social justice advocacy right up until the moment his life was ended by the assassin’s bullet of a racist reactionary."

Quit acting like you're appalled by this. You (most notably the racist party you claim) have no intention of adhering to the words of MLK, as is evidence by your misquoting him and taking his words out of context. MLK did not advocate burning down cities out of spite for social justice.

https://www.cnn.com/2016/11/11/us/oregon-protest-riot/index.html How quickly you seem to forget that Democrats rioted as well when Trump was elected back in 2016. Looks like it was actually Democrats as usual who started the "if we don't get the President we want, we riot" train.

Objection: Lacks Foundation! Assumes facts not in evidence!

To be specific: Portland is weird. Politically weird. It appears to be a hotbed of genuine dyed-in-the-wool ANTIFA anarchist/communist activity. (The Pacific Northwest is also weirdly a hotbed of white nationalism but we don’t have to get into that.)

These people rioted after Joe Biden was inaugurated! Joe Biden!

The sorts of folks who genuinely believe a communist revolution in America is right around the corner and get their hopes continually crushed whenever another candidate from the “two-party duopoly” takes it easily.

Ergo, I need to see more evidence before I can conclude these unemployed, ski-mask wearing 20-year-olds who probably bought a triple-shot Mocha from Starbucks on the way to their first riot were “Democrats.”

Eyyy, what happened to "Antifa just means anti-fascist and that we should all be Antifa?"

Antifa are politically Democrats. They supported Bernie Sanders both times around. The Democrat Party caters to the Antifa types in order to win elections. They're not exactly voting for Republicans now, are they? So if conservatives are forced to own Q nutters as our own faction, you can own Antifa as yours.

If you’re still listening to Trump after all these years, then you must be familiar with this concept.

And since Cuba’s on everyone’s mind these days…

Let’s see how tough you are.

Do you know something ’bout cocaine?

Dígame!

ANTIFA is certainly an interesting and agreeable concept (who doesn’t want to fight Nazis?) — of course, in practical terms, they frequently take it too far and are generally speaking politically off their rockers.

They’re not the armed wing of the Democratic Party and they’d be the first to tell you that. They’re not even “Bernie Bros” (worth noting Bernie didn’t win either time he ran, so even he’s not even representative of the Democratic Party).

They’re the kind of people who vote Green Party, or American Communist Party, or write in Kim Jong-Un’s name, or vote Trump so as to “heighten the contradictions” and “hasten the revolution,” or don’t even vote at all so as to “not support a corrupt system, man.”

Eyyy, some honesty from KylieFan! Now that deserves a screenshot!

(worth noting Bernie didn’t win either time he ran, so even he’s not even representative of the Democratic Party)

Hillary cheated Bernie out of the nomination. She staffed the DNC with her own people which meant Bernie and the others never stood a chance against her. Had 2016 been a fair primary, Bernie most likely would have won, and go on to defeat Trump and become President.
