Because an entire 15 minutes of taking temps as the probe melts in a super heated acid bath of an atmosphere won't yield much different results from the last one and pics of Mars sand with the occasional pebble we can call "Winnie the Poo" make for better funding for the time when they finally might decide to land one near something actually intersting like a canyon or ice cap.

They previously wanted to colonize Venus, thinking it was older and cooled down by their estimated age but turned out to still be plus 700k in temp. toxic atmospheric clouds lol
Prof Immanuel velikovsky predicted and had a few ideas why was still too hot.

Also reminds of of Robert morning sky’s terra papers, Mars sucked then too.

I don’t think it’ll be easy to land a rover there, mate.

Venus is fascinating but we have no proof that it's not just a deserted wasteland inside and out, and seeing as it would be incredibly expensive to create rovers to explore it, we're pretty happy assuming we've got the story right and we're "done" with Venus for now.

We have tried and tested ways of getting on Mars and it's becoming more and more interesting. (I can't research all the details while this is still relevant, sorry)

The one thing we do know about Mars is that there is water on it, and that's a hell of an exciting fact -- water would be impractical to ship to a different planet, so we can discount human exploration on planets without water. Finally, because Venus is so Earthlike, we aren't really exploring alien territory -- any research we could do there would be easier done here.

I'm in no way an expert, so I've tried to avoid saying facts I can't back up. If anybody can correct me, please do.

And other than size Venus does not have much in common with us, and it either did in the past, or will in future.. thats part of the mystery.

One day on Venus is equal to 243.16 Earth days. This puts Venus in a class of its own, with Titan, the atmosphere-bearing moon of Saturn, as its only companion (rotation rate of about 16 days)

I salute you, you've clearly done your research on the planet! Thank you for the information. I retain my point, but I'm looking forward to the day we can study Venus further.

Mars doesn’t orbit the earth, so no, it is not a moon

You would know the answer if you didn't have your head in Uranus.
