Not a matter of if I had it, as they started to put the picture together of the 14 different symptoms it was real clear I had it, as did hundreds of airport workers, truck drivers and and others I've talked to. The interesting thing is I had it on Jan. 7th, 2020, before it made the news. It was running through US and Canadian airport workers in late November and December 2019. I sent my wife texts that documented each of the symptoms as they presented. As reports of additional symptoms came out, I referenced back to those texts.
A lot of people shared identical experiences before it was even said to have "reached US shores" from China. I was ultra low energy for almost 3 months, then one day I woke up and was normal again (relative term- I know). The contrast was shocking, very noticeable.
The MIT study I mentioned was fascinating, in that the virus is not uniformly distributed, like all classic viruses it is relatively heavy compared to other air particles and they found the highest concentrations on the ground or floor in every situation, their words, not mine. That discovery was not what they expected.
Does that mean it wouldn't spread, by no means, it was very contagious to specific people with specific underlying conditions. One fascinating key that got buried in the politics of this is that the most vulnerable people had low levels of vitamin D, again, medical researchers words, not mine. Confining people inside during the quarantine exacerbated that condition as people weren't getting their normal exposure to vitamin D that we get from sunlight.
As for the masks, remember 9/11? All the workers who used bandanas, make shift masks and unsuitable masks are paying for it now. I worked in personnel safety for years and went through extensive training on what masks are appropriate and what they can and cannot do. Dr. Fauci even said early on that masks weren't effective ( a true statement), then reversed himself to eventually recommend 2 masks.
Even if they were effective, safety protocols require specific methods of disposing the masks after use (everyone reused them or you would literally have to use 20-30 masks a day). They have to be fit properly, any gap, anywhere on the mask rendered the masks useless. I taught people for years this stuff, it's second nature to me because it was vital to keeping the people working with me safe.
As for not lightening up, life is too short, get over it, it's not worth the price you pay for a reduced quality of life.
